Of course, Charlotte was relieved that Kyoko was free from her restraints after all the hard work she did. Despite this, she couldn't help but feel a bit annoyed as the gigantic tanuki instantly sprung into action. While it was understandable given the circumstances, it felt just a bit rude from her own perspective. Mostly since the sudden movement of Kyoko standing up felt like a literal mountain hopping up into the air. This naturally caused Charlotte to lose her grip as she was hanging on the upper shoulder of the younger superhero. Feeling all of the wind rushing past her as she entered a state of free fall, she let out a bit of a scream, which was probably inaudible for the giant tanuki. "EEEEEEEE!" she yelled as she seemed to fall a few hundred feet from her perspective. After a minute or two, she finally felt something break her fall. [break][break]
Luckily for her, it was definitely soft. Unfortunately for her, this landing spot also didn't seem to want to stay still. Before she could even get her bearings, it began to move and shake. Luckily she instinctively managed to grab on to some of the giant blue hairs, and somehow stayed put. As the sound of gigantic gunshots rang in her ears, she managed to slow her mind down and assess where she was. Noticing where this hairy object was attached to, she figured that it must be Kyoko's tail. While Kyoko was busy restraining the other assailant in the alley, Charlotte was simply trying to move along her tail and get back towards her face. While she could attempt to grow back, it was hard to use her powers after such a sudden harrowing experience. [break][break]
After a bit of a climb up Kyoko's back, Charlotte got back to her shoulder just in time for an unpleasant surprise. As Kyoko yelled at the crook with Charlotte right there, Charlotte felt her whole body shake. To put it simply, it was painful. The booming voice directly onto her tiny eardrums felt absolutely overpowering. As her eardrums rang, Charlotte cursed her own lack of foresight. Why would she expect this stranger to have any sort of idea how to handle a tiny person. Before she could dwell on it too much, she heard the question directed at her. While she grasped her ears to try and relieve the pain, hearing another giant voice wasn't a great help. Deciding she'd may as well try and grow back, she only made it to around 6 inches before she began to feel lightheaded. Stuttering a bit as she spoke from Kyoko's shoulder, she weakly said, "Oh yea... I'm doing... great..." As it turns out, she wasn't. A tiny thud could be heard as the talking Barbie doll casually passed out on the shoulder of the younger hero. Falling a couple hundred feet, climbing back up, and popping her ears within the space of a few minutes didn't seem great for her health.
The miniature doctor couldn't help but feel encouraged by the blinking of approval that the tanuki-girl gave her. While she didn't expect the girl to outright refuse her help, she didn't seem like she'd be an outright hinderance. While it was pretty hard for normal sized people to understand, there were a lot of really minor things which could be damning to her at this size. Like if the captured girl just so happened to let out a sneeze or something, Charlotte would probably be blown into next week. She couldn't dwell on that too much though, as she had a heck of a climb to make. [break][break]
Soon reaching out her hands and getting a grip on the tanuki-girl's massive cheek, she wondered whether she'd be able to actually feel this. It wasn't too long before she also put her foot down on a slightly higher position, and steadily began to ascend. While she's never been much of a rock climber, she ended up picking up a few of the necessary skills through this job. Making her way up past the nose and towards the short locks of blue hair, Charlotte tried to assess the expanse of the net. As she stood on top of the girl's head, she made sure to still speak to her and reassure her. "I'm gonna need you to hold still for me. You're doing great, I'll have you out in a jiffy," she said, borrowing the voice she'd use to kid getting a particularly painful shot. [break][break]
Before she could make it all the way there though, an unforeseen variable entered the picture. A booming voice yelled high above her, easily miles away from her tiny perspective. However through the newcomer's diction, she could only assume it was some kind of cop. Speaking more to herself she said, "That's not good..." as her whole timeframe for success just got a whole lot narrower. Immediately bolting towards the target on Kyoko's back, she needed to try and complete the mission before any sort of struggle ensued. While Kyoko was aware of her presence at least, everyone else in the alley posed a deadly risk. Making sure to avoid the various currents of electricity which made up the net was pretty easy for Charlotte, all things considered. Hopping her way along through the gaps reminded her of a time that someone foolishly tried to trap her in a bird cage. [break][break]
Soon enough, Charlotte managed to successfully reach her target. Climbing on top of the mechanical component, Charlotte managed to make out the pretty simple deactivation switch. Scoffing a bit to herself, it was like bad guys weren't even trying anymore. A few moments passed as she tried to actually work the button. As it turns out, it wasn't easy to apply enough force to even move the button. Eventually though, Charlotte managed to get the whole thing down, and heard the machine start to deactivate. As the net powered down, there was a small window of time that the doctor needed to capitalize on. Bolting her way back towards the upper body of Kyoko, she yelled up to her, "Hey! I did it! Now mess these guys up!" as the electric currents of the net began to dissipate and vanish. While she could grow herself and try to enter this fight herself, she was already super tuckered out. She didn't want to admit it, but she was more so hoping Kyoko would put her somewhere safe and fight these dudes for her.
The good doctor was surprisingly out of her lab for once. Taking it upon herself to try experience more of Wayport as an actual city, she found herself travelling to a place that she always dreaded, the beach. Not that there was anything particularly unpleasant about the beach, at least from her experience. That was the problem. She'd never actually experienced it. While someone with her broad expanse of knowledge probably knew everything there was to know about a beach, she'd also seen Jaws when she was about six. A weird French dub of Jaws, but Jaws nonetheless. While she didn't expect to be attacked by a shark the second she hit the beach, she figured there had to be some kind of sea monster on the premises. Besides, she's seen plenty of monsters in her dayjob.[break][break]
Finally working up the courage to hit Savvy Shores, she ended up getting yet another distraction on her way there. Its like she couldn't even leave the house without being dragged into something. This being a literal kidnapping, in broad daylight no less. She figured criminals had to be not even trying at this point. She was passing by a pretty quaint set of stores near the docks that managed to notice the particularly heinous ambush on a blue-haired girl with some kind of animal ears. While a more sensible thing to do might be to inform her superiors at Aegis before engaging, Charlotte was nothing if not confident. Shrinking down to a mere few inches tall to follow behind, she ran as fast as he could to catch up with the bunch of thugs. [break][break]
By the time that they arrived at the alleyway, Charlotte was beginning to have some doubts about her plan. Growing here would only cause lots of property damage. While she tried to figure out a better way to tackle this situation, she got a bit of a saving grace. That being in the form of the girl that they captured. While she didn't know her personally, she recognized her general profile from Aegis's various medical records. Surely she'd be able to beat up these goons if she just free. With a renewed devotion and a proper plan, the good doctor charged her way into the alleyway. Of course, she was still a mere two inches tall, to avoid the detection of the thugs.[break][break]
Making her way to the gigantic imprisoned tanuki-girl, Charlotte wanted to make her presence known first. Walking up to her face as she laid on her side, Charlotte waved a few times to try and get her attention. Deciding that wasn't enough, she poked her cheek once or twice to try and get a reaction. She then finally said, "Heyyy! I'm Doctor Charlotte Leblanc, it's a pleasure. Now I'm gonna get you out of here so just sit tight! A net like this should have some kind of mechanical component to keep the whole apparatus powered and grounded. I'm gonna find that and break it, ok? Then I'm gonna need you to beat these guys up for me... for obvious reasons," before she gestured to her own body, as if to point out her obvious size. She then continued, "Don't worry, I'll patch up any injuries you might get. Oh, and please don't step on me!"[break][break]
Once her little introduction was out of the way, Charlotte began making her way around Kyoko's body, trying to find whatever part of the net's apparatus controlled the whole device. Hopefully her hypothesis was right, or else she'd be really out of options.
Charlotte seemed too lost in thought to mind the casual phone being put down next to her sterilized medical equipment. What she didn't know couldn't hurt her after all. She was mainly focused on the point that Sunny made about power conversion. While the fact that it was there didn't surprise her, it was the nature of how was still a mystery. "What sort of power is it even converting...?" she mused to herself as she took a closer examination of the pump. It was then that she started to put the pieces together. Turning her attention towards the subject's head, her whole background in neurobiology came flooding back to her. Noticing a distinct cable implanted directly towards the back of the subject's head, she formed her more complete hypothesis. [break][break]
Having a bit of a proud look to her, she quickly turned herself away from the body and towards her clipboard. Running some numbers in her head, she started to map out a more complete picture of this operation. She then proudly said, "I think I've figured out how the subject has managed to stay alive and appear human," before taking a bit of a deep breath. She knew that this would definitely take some explanation, especially considering that she wasn't exactly talking to a neurosurgeon here. "If my hypothesis is correct, this small cable feeding into the subject's brain is tricking it in a way. While the subject should be dead by all means, the cable is generating electric impulses almost identical to the natural neural oscillations of the brain. The machinery is essentially tricking the brain into performing normal neural functions and giving commands to the rest of the body, which seems to be set up to sustain all of the machinery inside the subject. The mechanical energy being created is being fed back into the machine, giving it the power which is partially being converted to the initial electric impulses. The machine essentially acts as an artificial brain and forces the subject's biology into becoming a walking power generator." [break][break]
While she was going through her whole breakthrough on the biological aspect of the cyborg's design, there were still so many questions. Who was responsible for this? Why did they do it in the first place? Beyond simply keeping the subject alive, what was the machine's true goal? Of course, while she was rattling off, her partner continued working on her lead. Listening carefully to her struggles with the Russian programming language, she couldn't help but feel out of her element. Looking confident when Sunny suggested activating the machine, she knew that it had to be done. "We're scientists, this is what we do. We can't stop until we've exhausted every possible method to learn the truth. Besides, I can take care of a half dead cyborg just fine," she reassured her. At the end of the day, discovering everything to know about this cyborg was their mission, and they needed to complete it.
Charlotte had to admit that she was quite surprised when she saw the person who casually entered her lab. While she knew that Aegis was home to multiple unorthodox people, she wasn't expecting someone so young to help her on this case. Of course, she probably couldn't talk in that respect. While older than Sunny, Charlotte was still barely twenty-one. Most people her age were still in school, while she already possessed doctorates in multiple fields. Examining the newcomer as she put on her mask, Charlotte finally realized where she recognized her from. Or at least, assumed that she recognized her. "You're Sun-hi Lee right? I've seen some of your work," she said simply, as she just put the pieces together in her head. After all, there weren't that many female Korean tech prodigies who've that had kind of success without looking a day out of high school. Deciding she'd may as well get through pleasantries before they started really attacking the cyborg's body, she continued, "Dr. Charlotte Leblanc, a pleasure." [break][break]
Now that was finally over with, the real fun could begin. Grabbing a hold of her lab report, it was soon hand delivered to Sunny, so she could note all of the observations that Charlotte has made so far. While she could just let her read it, she decided to also explain some of the main points out loud. "The subject's body seems to have been rewired beyond the point of merely sustaining human life. It seems like he was made into a biological computer of some kind, with human organs somehow serving roles within a new computing apparatus. At the moment, it's difficult to determine just what the machine was actually intended to do, or how the subject was even kept alive in the first place. All of our diagnostics done closer to the time of death reveal that the subject was still effectively human, somehow," she explained thoroughly as she gave her a brief run down of each of the system's various components. Using a scalpel to point out elements of the body which seemed greatly out of place or functioning in a completely different process than normal.[break][break]
Taking a bit of a deep breath as she adjusted her mask, she couldn't help but be a bit taken aback by the comment. Of course, she'd normally done autopsy's with fellow doctors, so the idea of complaining seemed beyond foreign. Deciding she at least deserved a response, Charlotte snided back, "Eight years of med school mainly. Trust me I've worked with bodies and situations way worse than this. You get used to it after awhile." She had to admit that it was a bit relaxing to be working on this with someone else, since hopefully they could share some of the stress of this whole encounter.
Charlotte found herself a bit too occupied with the various tellers to notice what Catman had taken from Butch. While she wouldn't outright stop him from taking it, she'd at least appreciate being in the loop about this whole thing. In reality though, this wasn't really any of her business. She helped out because she was in the neighborhood, but it seemed like this Cat gentleman had much more beef he wanted to take up with these guys. Giving him a bit of a courteous smile as she looked to him, she said, "It's been a pleasure Catman. If you ever find yourself too banged up from these little excursions, you know who to call." She then proceeded to dig through her pockets, and quickly toss a business card at him. Among other things, it contained her name, alter ego and phone number. [break][break]
Shortly after his remark about Aegis arresting him, she heard the approaching vehicles of the agency. Taking a deep breath, she quickly scanned the room to make sure that both criminals were in place. By the time that she looked back towards Catman, he had vanished. Letting out a bit of a sigh, she muttered, "Typical." Of course, she couldn't dwell much on her feline ally, as she had to go through all the proper red tape for this situation. She quickly turned over the two crooks to Aegis agents, making sure that they were both restrained and safely escorted out of the bank. In her explanation, she made sure to exclude the part about Catman, as she wasn't exactly trying to put a target on his back. She knew Aegis, and she knew that they wouldn't care that he saved all these people.[break][break]
After finally leaving the bank, Charlotte couldn't help but realize just how late it was. "Guess sleep schedules are overrated anyway..." she said to herself dejectedly, as she figured she'd may as well just go back to her lab anyway. Hopefully someday soon she could actually make a bank account. Maybe next time the bank would get robbed in the process.
Charlotte had to admit that she was somehow out of her comfort zone. While she normally was a master of the human body and all of it's components, something about this particular case managed to completely stump her. More specifically, she was attempting to perform an autopsy on a mysterious assailant encountered by Aegis operatives in the field. The man seemed like he was in his mid thirties, and stood at an imposing six foot five. Facial recognition software tied him to a former police officer who seemed to vanish over five years ago, though it was clear that he has certainly changed since. While an autopsy like this would normally child's play to someone like her, this body has clearly been tampered with. Many of his internal bodily functions seemed to be replaced by machinery of some kind. She had a proper cyborg on her hands.[break][break]
Of course, the fact that it was a machine wasn't what stumped her. Artificial replacements for biological organs has been a medical concept for years and years. The part that confused her was what the machines were actually doing. They weren't actually performing biological processes, or at least not biological processes that Charlotte could recognize. While she could make out a clear internal method for the machines to power themselves, she couldn't tell much about what they were actually doing. That's not even mentioning the biological organs that were left in the specimen. It seemed like they had been completely rewired to this machine's apparatus. As if the organs themselves had been moved to completely separate parts of the body and somehow reprogrammed to perform a separate task. The fact that the specimen was alive at all was a miracle.[break][break]
Its not like she was here to admire the handiwork though, she needed to get answers. At the end of the day, this cyborg was a terrorist who almost detonated an entire chemical plant outside of Wayport. Upon being subdued by Aegis agents, he decided to take his own life over being taken alive. Clearly he had something to hide, and presumably someone or something that he was working for. Charlotte needed to figure out anything she could about a possible employer from the body. [break][break]
Letting out a dejected sigh as she noted her observations on a lab report, she was surprised by the sudden entrance of her superior. Supposedly another Aegis agent was going to be assigned to this investigation. In her mind, she desperately tried to not take it personally, but it really didn't work. She's a Doctor, and an absolute genius at that. She should be able to figure this out by herself. Returning to the specimen with a renewed vigor, Charlotte heard a strange sparking as she began to investigate a potential respiratory apparatus. As if it wasn't clear already, she was completely out of element.
In the aftermath of the whole scuffle, she had to admit that something was rubbing her the wrong way about this guy. While her comment was admittedly pretty cheeky, she at least expected some kind of response to it. Then there was the fact that one of the grunts seemed like he was dead. Of course, accidents happen in the heat of battle, especially with guns involved. She hoped that he'd have some kind of reaction to it though. Her immediate instinct was to try and assess the damages that fight did to the group of criminals, so she casually returned to her admittedly short normal size. Stretching a bit afterwards, she had to wonder why her body felt so strange every time she changed size. It was then that this cat-dressed individual casually lifted the already injured ruffian and began to interrogate him. [break][break]
Looking a bit annoyed, she shot him a glare that could kill. With a frustrated tone in her voice, she said, "Look, have you tried growing a pair of manners? Maybe I'd be more willing to help you if you acknowledged my existence," as she intentionally left her answer to the question vague. While she really didn't know anything, she wanted him to believe that she did. After all, he'd only show proper manners to her if it was convenient to him, or at least she thought. After her little outburst though, she got back to doing what she was born to do. It wasn't long before she was scouring the bank for all of the rescued tellers. She had to treat a few minor injuries for them, but luckily nothing too dangerous. She thanked some sort of providence that none of these people were caught in the crossfire. [break][break]
As she tended to the various tellers, she made sure that she kept at least one eye on Catman. While she could assume that he was acting for some kind of good, she couldn't be completely certain. There was something about him that just screamed untrustworthy to her. Deciding she'd may as well keep up some kind of conversation, she spoke with him from across the room. "I assume I can call you Catman? That's what they called you at least. I'm Dr. Charlotte Leblanc, but you can just call me Doctor," she called out from the side of the unconscious bossman. Like a true goody-two-shoes, she was making sure to treat any immediate injuries that could worsen on a trip to prison. Soon afterwards, she decided that she'd may as well get the cops over here to take them away. After a bit of waiting, she got on the line with an officer from Aegis. "It's Dr. Leblanc, I need a cleanup at Wayport Bank. I got three confirmed criminals, I believe one of them is dead," she bluntly said to the operative. [break][break]
While this guy gave her all the wrong signals, she wasn't one to let a favor go unrepaid. Looking directly to the mysterious vigilante, Charlotte sighed to herself. She then dejectedly explained, "Hey whiskers, I just called an Aegis cleanup over here. I'm just gonna guess that you don't want them seeing your face, so you should probably bounce. If you choose not to, that's not exactly my fault." Of course, this seemed completely off protocol, but when was Charlotte one to do as other people told her?
As Charlotte took a few deep breaths after tossing her pen, it began to set in just what she was doing. Of course, jumping headlong into danger was something plenty of heroes did, but it didn't really suit her much. Like one of her experiments, she needed everything to be perfect and calculated. She could have faith in her abilities when she could actually use them, but here she would but the entire bank at risk attempting something like that. This was the opposite of one of her procedures, messy, chaotic, and dangerous. Its not like she could predict what these unhinged criminals would do, and she didn't exactly have a safety net to fall back on. "Deep breathes, deep breathes, don't get shot, can't be that hard right?" she mused to herself in an inaudible voice.[break][break]
While she was trying to get a grip, the banging of the newcomer could be heard. While her pen distracted the boss of the group, someone else took the opportunity for himself. The unspoken tension felt in the room was instantly broken when Charlotte heard the name that these ruffians called the new challenger. That wasn't even mentioning the ridiculous meow that he uttered before plunging the entire room in a chaotic smoke. Like, Catman? Really? How trite was that. Was he gonna take these crooks to the litterbox? Some folks around this town really need to work on their branding if they plan to take this seriously. [break][break]
Despite the minor distraction in her mind, she quickly snapped herself back to reality. Of course, this would be her best chance to try and take out these criminals as well. She could hear the gunfire and action taking place elsewhere in the smoke, but it was difficult to make out exactly what Catman was doing. However what she did know was that the bossman went exactly where she wanted him to. As he bent down to inspect the pen, his back was completely turned to the hiding doctor. Acting quickly, she began to rapidly grow herself a bit. While she couldn't exactly go all the way one of her more towering sizes, she could comfortably stand at around twelve feet tall. Emerging from the desk as she grew, she wasted no time grabbing the ruffian and beginning to restrain him. She quickly loosened his grip on the gun and tossed it away, hoping that one of his compatriots wouldn't just grab a hold of it. It wasn't too long before she had him completely grappled, as she held oppressively by the neck. Of course, she made sure not to choke him, but she made sure that he couldn't go anywhere.[break][break]
A resounding smack could be heard throughout the bank, as the boss's body soon hit the ground unconscious. Taking a moment to recompose herself, Charlotte took a deep breath as the smoke faded. Looking down at all of the tellers about half her size, she wanted to make sure no one was injured throughout the process. Before she could focus too much on that though, she saw the mysterious figure of Catman. She approached him as she exuded an energy of relaxation and contentment. "Thanks for the assist. Do you want a treat?" she said with a bit of a self-important tone in her voice as she held two fingers above him, simulating an owner offering something to their pet.
Charlotte was feeling quite out of her element on the brisk fall evening. Not only was outside of her lab for once, but she was actually dealing with something she'd dreaded for most of her life, finances. Its not her fault that's never needed to worry about a dime of her own money, her parents were just too cushy! Not to mention the fact that her scholarships covered most of her whole education. That's not even mentioning how Aegis doesn't actually pay her a salary. Yet, she did manage to get some kind of money for herself. The only problem being that she didn't actually have a bank account. And as if that wasn't enough, she managed to somehow show up after the bank was already closed.[break][break]
However as she awkwardly stood outside the bank trying to figure out when it'd open, she did overhear something strange. Hearing the brutish and simpleminded voices of the criminals, it was pretty obvious to her that the bank was being robbed. With a bit of a sigh, she knew what she had to do. Its not like she could actually make an account there tomorrow if it gets properly robbed. Following behind the voices of the strange criminals, she had a little trick up her sleeve. She quickly shrunk herself down to a couple inches tall to follow after the criminals. Of course, there was a safe distance between herself and the murderers, since she wasn't exactly trying to get stepped on tonight. [break][break]
Following behind the group of giants, she was by proxy led into the bank. While it was a bit hard to make out at her reduced size, it was pretty apparent that the brutes were heading straight for the vault. Making her way behind a teller's desk, she comfortably grew herself back to normal size. Ensuring that she remained hidden, she tried to think her way out of this situation. This really was one of those encounters where her powers could be more of a hinderance than a help. Its not like she was bulletproof at a more normal size, and she'd break the bank if she grew to a more threatening size. Her best bet was to try and unarm one of the assailants, and try her hand at a proper shootout. She's seen enough movies, she's got this right? Grabbing a hold of a pen from her pocket, she casually threw it to one of the far corners of the lobby. Hopefully the noise would manage to get one of the grunt's attention, and she could get the jump on him away from the others.
An eccentric yet devoted scientist, Charlotte is always searching for answers about the world around her. Its extremely rare for her to not be contemplating something, whether its something complex or simple. Having grown up with an inherent jealousy towards superhumans and an exceptionally robust intellect, she has devoted her life to the study of metahumans. While she spends much of her time working as a proper medical doctor for Aegis, her personal research tends to be much more experimental. As part of research, she managed to intentionally turn herself into a metahuman, both to fulfill her jealous desires, and to experiment on her own body. At the end of the day, she hopes to use her multitudes of research on the metahuman genome to help the community.
[break][break]
Beyond her time in the lab, Charlotte is really just an awkward dork who hardly understands any of the real world. Attending college at the age of 13 really didn't do much to help her developing social skills. One day she might learn how to connect with actual humans, but it's a process.
Charlotte had to admit that she was quite annoyed. Here she was trying to run some diagnostic tests on a unknown sample of metahuman DNA she acquired from a field agent, but the literal heavens intervened to stop her. Though that was probably the wrong descriptor. It was more like little green men who came from the heavens, or something of the sort. Honestly by the time she saw hokey UFOs straight out of Roswell approaching the city, she had a feeling she'd have an eventful day. The explosions and tremors only served to further distract her from the important work that she was trying to do. Apparently Marvin the Martian had to be dealt with first.[break][break]
Its not that Charlotte disliked actually being a hero, she just had some other priorities on her mind. With a bit of a dejected sigh, she left her lab and entered the chaotic proceedings going on at Aegis Headquarters. It was fairly understandable all things considered, but it didn't make it any less annoying for Charlotte to do her job. She had to waltz her way around the whole facility to find one soldier's commanding officer, then that guy's superior, and so forth and so forth. Its not like she was asking for a lot. She just needed the barrier down a bit so she could actually leave the building. It didn't help that plenty of the people she needed to talk to just so happened to be panicking about the whole ordeal. After navigating the entire corporate structure of Aegis's operations and flexing her basic understanding of therapy, she finally managed to get someone to open the door for her.[break][break]
Upon stepping out into the warzone of Wayport's streets, Charlotte took a minute to take this all in. She stretched a bit, before letting out a bit of a yawn. While she knew she had quite the job to do, she wasn't going to go into this stupidly. In reality, she was attempting to scan the battlefield for just about any relevant info to the fight ahead. Of course, the most important thing on her mind was the location of civilians. She had to make sure none were around her, because she planned to just let loose. Once she knew it was safe, she began to properly enter the fray. As one would expect from Titania, her first job was simply to grow. And grow she did, shooting up to a massive one thousand feet tall like a rocket. Easily standing comfortably next to the building that she'd just left, it was safe to say that she fit right in with the skyscrapers all around her. [break][break]
"Attention all Martians! You made a grave mistake messing with my research. You runts can scamper off back to Mars peacefully, or I can toss you back there. Your choice!" her voiced boomed in a clearly standard and unoriginal diatribe. Of course, its not like she intended to actually give any solace to these invaders. Realistically, she just needed to draw their attention. Any laser beam fired at her was one less directed at Aegis Headquarters and all of the civilians being protected inside. Luckily, she was a pretty damn big target. "What's that? You want to resist? Well lets make this quick!" her colossal voice rang across the battlefield, sounding louder than any rock concert. With those words, she sprung into action. [break][break]
Her first attack was a hearty, earthquake-causing stomp delivered directly to a large clump of the bug sized aliens. She grinded her shoe a bit to make sure that she was really doing damage to them, not really caring about the destroyed pavement job under her feet. Alien invasions call for desperate measures after all, and its not like she planned to directly pay for this property damage. Beyond that, she decided that she wanted to aim higher. Looking at one of the flying saucers over the city, she got an idea. Casually approaching it and grabbing it like a frisbee, she could feel much of the metal creaking and snapping. Of course, the aliens inside were doing practically everything they could to stop her, but their lasers didn't exactly prevent her from doing what she wanted to do. With a bit of a playful tone in her voice, she shouted, "GO LONG!" before tossing the flying saucer like a frisbee. Of course, she made sure to throw it far away from the city, and into a pretty unpopulated area nearby. By the time it landed, a sizeable explosion could be seen.
Two-thousand on thermometers. Two-thousand surroundin' us. Travel two-thousand kilometers. To hang out with us, "What's up, danger? (Danger) What's up, danger? (Danger)"[break][break]
Ayy, gettin' old, they doubted us. Makes it that more marvelous. Sign 'em up, 'cause I'm in this vibe and I get synonymous. What's up, danger?Ayy, don't be a stranger.
