Gotanda is what would be considered Tokyo's business district along with its college district and likely the most popular place in the city to both tourists and residents.

Kichijoji is another area brimming with popularity, though it boasts a more old-timey aesthetic in comparison to Gotanda with noticeably fewer skyscrapers and more small businesses with narrow streets and those classic wall-bound neon signs. It is also a very popular residential area.

Taito City is like a perfect mesh between Gotanda and Kichijoji. It has some skyscrapers much like Gotanda but it is also brimming with businesses and narrow streets like Kichijoji. What sets it apart is that it is home to the absolutely stunning agricultural accomplishment that is Ueno Park, complete with a zoo and even lake-boating activities.
