Ahoeitu’s heart beat with sheer excitement due to the task that he was designated to undertake by Aegis. It seemed that there had been a bit of a bloodsucker outbreak uptown thanks to a former Aegis Agent, one that would certainly need to be contained. Otherwise, the whole thing was sure t turn into a Castlevania game. He acrobatically made his way from rooftop to rooftop with ease, tricking and flipping as he seemed to dance through the air with incredible style and grace. He had watched enough freerunning videos in his freetime and taken enough Aegis training to do this so effortlessly, though admittedly, the strength of his legs and the height of his bounds certainly helped. He had gotten close to where he needed to be now, and took one final giant leap into the sky.
Recklessly and obnoxiously, he announced his appearance not with words, but with a titanic slam into the pavement, sending a few zombies in the area off of their feet. Covered by dust from the impact, he took the time to use his ESP and scout out the area. Tons of glowing red figures were all over the area, and he couldn’t seem to point out which one was Vampro himself. But he didn’t care. A nasty grin twisted its way onto his face as he placed his left hand on his shoulder and rotated his right arm. “You all have got two options: you either run for the hills, OR…” , with a single clap, the dust exploded outwards, revealing his person. “...I test how ‘undead’ you guys really are. Either way, consider this your last supper!” He then moved onto the offensive, tackling one vampire and throwing it into another, others in the area moving to attack him. He took a punch to the face, one that he definitely felt. Perfect, he actually had a challenge on his hands.
Laughing, he rebounded with a knuckle rebuttal, sending the lucky striker tumbling. While he wasn’t really aware of it yet though, over fifty vampires was a bit much, even for someone like Ahoeitu, as vampires were far from pushovers. He’d definitely need back up, whether he wanted it or not.
A couple thousand lives to save a million more. That’s all Ahoeitu could think when Sunny responded to his plan. His rosy eyes bounced from one teen to another. Fortified stupidity enveloped them all, the kind that for all his power, he just wouldn’t be able to pierce. There was no point in starting an argument about how the careful way would always be the one most at risk of failing in situations like these. So he let it go with a hefty grunt. He didn’t even respond to the jabs at his intelligence. It’d be much sweeter to rub it in their faces when this all went wrong because they were too busy trying to save each and every person.
Though, he wasn’t going to just let his ego be poked at in such a way, especially since he was supposed to be the leader here, not her. So, in true man-child fashion, upon receiving a communicator from Sunny, he looked down at the device in his hand. A few seconds went by, and then he crushed it with ease, opening his hand finger-by-finger as the parts of the device hit the floor. “Like I said: give some kind of signal. I will see it.” He gave his team a demanding and borderline threatening glare, aggressively recommending that they listen to him rather than her without saying a word.
His speechlessness remained as the aliens poured out of the mothership, Ahoeitu ripping into the sky in response, aiming to shred through the assaulting aliens like a missile and enter the ship through the hole that the harmatites were leaving out of. He tore through several hoverbikes like a hot knife through butter, many explosions erupting in his wake as debris and shrapnel whizzed towards the ground below, but he didn’t care. Naturally, though, he began to slow down from all this. He was jumping, not flying after all, and as he lost momentum, he began to plummet. But he didn’t panic.
He turned as if he were getting ready to skydive, observing how they were piloting the bikes in his head, learning, analyzing, and locking in the motions before dropping like a sack of rocks onto the back of a hoverbike, its pilot swerving out of control from the sudden weight. “Have a nice flight, or some corny shit like that!”, he’d quip as he grabbed the alien by its shoulder and tossed it off of the vehicle. Now left to drive the vehicle, he looked at the abundance of buttons and mechanisms. He moved the handles as he had seen all the others do and then pulled a switch, the vehicle accelerating towards the ship now instead of away from it. In no time he was entering the ship with Sunny, but he hadn’t observed anyone use a brake, meaning he had absolutely no clue where that was. He was still speeding into the ship, frankly losing control as he decided to just give in to his recklessness and jumped off of the hover bike. The machine careened out of control, slamming into a pillar of the ship as the bike went up in flames immediately, officially compromising whatever element of surprise the pair might have had.
He had threatened the integrity of the ship, risking bringing it down, but of course he didn’t care. Instead he was more worried about the aliens that had shown up to combat himself and Sunny, rifles aimed expertly. “This welcome party is adorable, huh Nexus?”, Ahoeitu laughed, stretching out his arms, trying to project harmlessness as he spoke about the harmatites to Sunny like they were zoo animals. “Now I’ll feel a little bit worse about pounding your faces in!” He then bounded towards the extraterrestrials, not even thinking to keep some around for questioning regarding the layout of the ship.
Meanwhile, on the ground, Harmatites would rain down from the sky. While some would be knocked off by not only Ahoeitu and Sunny, but Kyoko and Vivienne on the ground, many more still landed. However, they didn't just start to randomly cause destruction. Instead, they split into smaller swarms, each one jamming strange metal, pillar-like devices into the ground that were guarded heftily. They would begin to glow at the very top, the glow slowly beginning to move towards the bottom of each pillar. There were three in total. It seemed that the aim of the game was, more specifically, terra-forming. It was up to the defense squad to prevent these devices from gaining full power, whether that be by taking the more risky route of destroying them outright or reaching the control panels on each device and shutting them down manually. If they failed, it'd mean the loss of many, many lives as the pillars would release catastrophic pulses of energy that would transform uptown into something no human was meant to live on or within.
Ahoeitu turned around to face his team once Vivienne had finally arrived on the scene. He scanned the teenagers all lined up together as a team. He hated working with teams but the sight of all of them together like this did make him grin. “No, I haven’t provoked them yet, actually. Shocking right? I mean in any other universe I’d probably just jump into action, but I’m a nice guy, I wanted to let you guys have some fun.” He retorted sarcastically to Sunny’s question. She was a fine asset to the team, with intellect that even he himself couldn’t rival no matter how many books he read, and that was saying something. But she’d never hear that compliment transform from thoughts into words. The Samoan nodded his head as Sunny explained her plan to him. “Sounds good.”, was all he uttered in response.
He shifted his gaze to Kyoko, and began addressing her remark about downtown. Her abnormal worry for all things “life” was something that totally blanked his mind. Of course she’d have a problem with them skipping over downtown, causing Ahoeitu to roll his eyes and respond in an over-exaggerated manner. “Why the hell would we go downtown when Aegis HQ is down there already? Surely they’ve got heroes up the ass giving those creeps a pounding.” He turned his head back briefly, motioning to the residential buildings that consumed uptown before returning to his original position. “On the other hand, we’re the only folks uptown that are even remotely capable of bringing that giant saucer crashing down. You wanna go downtown when we’re done here? Be my guest! Hell I might just join you! But focus up here while that thing is still in the sky. That goes for all of you! We don’t have time for ‘what-ifs’ and shoulda, woulda, couldas!”
The Japanese teen placed his hands on his hips as Vivienne explained what had taken her so long. He stared silently for a few moments before saying: “We don’t have time for excuses either. Petty situations are petty, we treat them as such.”, he snapped coldly, just as Kaiden bust through the door ranting and cursing like a sailor. He stared the young man dead in the eyes as he complained about the meeting spot and climbing stairs. A superhero, complaining about climbing stairs. Ahoeitu looked him up and down slowly before simply chuckling at his fellow hero and turning back around to face the alien spaceship. “Anyway,” he continued. “I didn’t know you two were acquainted!” He smiled, nodding his head as he looked back and forth between Kyoko and Sunny. “That’ll make this next part easy: Nexus, you’re with me on assault once you’ve got that data all together, we’ll be heading into the ship directly to bring it down. Emote, Hellbird and Kunoichi, you three are a team together on defense. If you’re ever in too deep, just give some kind of signal, I’m sure one of us can get to you in time.” He waved a nonchalant hand on that last part as if he didn’t really care, the ship opening just as he finished speaking.
A swarm of Harmatites on hoverbikes would proceed to rain down on the city, shrieking extraterrestrial battle cries as they streaked down into uptown. The party was starting. “Looks like you’re up, defense! Don’t die out there!”, he said with a massive grin plastered on his jaw. He then turned to Sunny. “You done with that data collecting yet?”
Ahoeitu would burst back onto the scene, seemingly out of thin air with a hand behind his back as Kyoko began her “informative” speech regarding the hero’s popularity. All of it was nothing new to the Samoan hero at this point, which should’ve caused him to consider an early retirement. But Ahoeitu simply did not care. In fact, he chuckled at the young woman’s suggestion to look himself up on google and see for himself all the stuff people were saying about him. He began to calmly waltz forward, his head down as he spoke. “I don’t think I’m ‘it’, I know that I am, and I don’t need the validation of some keyboard warriors in order to be sure of that! If someone is disturbing the peace, my job is to snuff them out so they stop.” He then raised his head and puffed out his chest, locking eyes with Kyoko. ”The more time I waste worrying about making the city look perfect when I’m done or saving every single person ever, which is impossible by the way, is the longer a villain continues to frolic around, free as can be. Anyway,” he shifted the subject, not paying attention to whether or not she had a rebuttal. Quite frankly, he didn’t care.
“Otanjobiomedetogozaimasu!*”, he said as he unveiled a small, black maneki neko and tossed it to the heroine without warning. It was a popular charm in Japanese culture. “It’s supposed to keep evil spirits away according to my mom, but seeing as to how I’m pretty much unharmed, that’s probably a load of bullshit.” He took a pause, allowing his joke to process before snickering menacingly, whether Kyoko laughed with him or not. “Anyway, I’ve got a bit of a life to attend to, so I’ll let you know more about details regarding the team through text message, since apparently face to face communication causes you to have an aneurysm.” A snarky, overexaggerated reference to when she asked him why he didn’t just text her instead of showing up here. “Bye bye!” He opened and closed his fingers on a raised hand, giving pompous wave, and with that, he bounded into the night sky, satisfied with his first recruitment.

The streets of Wayport had turned into an absolute warzone, and it seemed that Uptown was soon to follow. It hadn’t even been a few hours since the alien spaceships seemed to just zap into existence, demanding the human race to submit and allow their home to be assimilated over any and all radio frequencies. Of course, that didn’t bode well with the governments or the bureaucracies of the world. The United Nations, the Holy See, Aegis, and whatever other organization was out there, it didn’t matter. They were all in the same boat now.
To Ahoeitu though, this whole thing was, in a way, an absolutely glorious opportunity. These pushover aliens had decided that they were gonna trash his city? Talk about an early Christmas gift, now he would get to kick massive amounts of ass and look good doing it, not to mention, his newly formed Superhero team would finally be able to make their first appearance. Speaking of, they were meant to assemble uptown soon, and Ahoeitu was currently waiting at the rendezvous point: a rooftop adjacent to the giant saucer that was hovering over the neighborhood.
The japanese hero didn’t look away from the saucer for a second, keeping his ESP active to allow for extra awareness. So far, it seemed no hostiles had even snuck off the ship or anything, only the glowing white figures of civilians in their homes showed up around him, which was certainly a good thing. As soon as his team arrived, they could formulate a plan and likely get a jump on the aliens. After all, they were already attacking downtown, it would only be a matter of time before they started attacking uptown as well. “We might need to have a meeting about punctuality.”, he muttered, shaking his head at the giant saucer.
A smile slowly crept onto Ahoeitu’s face upon hearing Kyoko agree, finally seeing things his way. His cocky persona returned in full. He opened his arms as if he were inviting the girl in for a hug, revealing the bullseye-esque insignia on the center of his suit. “Of course I’m right, and since we’re gonna be on the same team, you better get used to that!” He chuckled pompously. “I don’t tend to be wrong. Also, who sends a text to ask someone to be part of a mighty superhero team? I at least have some respect for you.” Believing his business here to now be done, he prepared to bound away as Kyoko pushed past him. But he stopped when she began to speak again.
He didn’t turn around fully, but he turned his head enough to indicate that he was definitely listening. He then turned back and looked at the branches she was referring too. Again, it wasn’t Kyoko herself that made him consider how he had messed up, rather how much she reminded him of his mother. When the girl first started talking about how she could literally hear the plants, all Ahoeitu thought to say was ’What are you, nuts?’, but he bit his tongue. She’d probably have been upset about something so small too. Not to mention, Kyoko had a point: he did kinda ruin her birthday too, even if it was unknowingly.
The teenage hero placed his fists on his hips and sighed, almost choking on his pride as he swallowed it to say: “...I’ll see what I can do.” He then turned to face forward. With that, he zipped away, making use of his tremendous speed rather than exploding into the air like he normally would. It felt kind of wrong doing that now, considering the circumstances.

[attr="class","freiwantmid"]CHARACTER ROLE archenemy (espio's killer)
[attr="class","freiwantmid"]FACE CLAIM scarred; up to you otherwise
[attr="class","freiwanttop"]ABOUT THE CHARACTER
[attr="class","freiwantbot"]
To start off, Espio is a deceased alien superhero with incredible psychic abilities who Ahoeitu had his DNA bonded with in an experimental procedure, spearheaded by his father who did so in order to save Ahoeitu's life after he and his mother were caught in the crossfire of a momentus battle between Espio and this particular villain. The event took place when Ahoeitu was fourteen so the character would likely be older than twenty seven now.[break][break]
I don't have a specific power in mind, just something that would believably allow one to "blow themselves up", taking Espio with them while they themselves have survived. Examples of these possible powers would be (but are NOT limited to): explosion manip., nuclear manip., fireworks manip., solar energy manip., explosive phys., etc. [break][break]
The explosion would have exhausted them severely, not to mention the injuries from the battle preceding their detonation, so the FC would likely scarred but, again, no one in specific is in my head honestly. Species isn't really important, though they'd likely be humanoid. As for personality, I'd like to think that they're a very calculating and tactical person if not anything else since Espio was egotistical, not stupid. They'd also have to be pretty strong, could be weakened because of the injuries or not, that's up to you, but Espio was definitely far stronger and much more versatile than Ahoeitu is now.[break][break]
Lastly, when it comes to history I don't have many guidelines for this character, it just has to be a villain or anti-hero that has had a long rivalry with Espio and eventually took advantage of the hero's hubris and blew themselves up, supposedly dying in the blast. In other words, an arch-nemesis back from the dead, looking to tie up loose ends (that being Ahoeitu). Espio was an arrogant prick despite being a registered hero so they could have been trying to kill him for the "right reasons", hence why an anti-hero would be okay as well. I'm not sure if they'd want to kill Ahoeitu outright since he doesn't have Espio's memories, and while he did take on the deceased hero's shitty egotistical tendencies, he's still a different person, but I'll also leave that to you!
The Samoan hero squinted his eyes in the middle of the young woman’s declaration of disdain for him. There was one thing in particular that she said that really bothered him. So much so that he stopped listening right after she said it, waiting for the chance to speak. Once she finished, he immediately raised an up-turned hand. “What do you mean ‘stay back YOU’? I thought that dumbfounded look on your face was some stupid joke; do you actually not know who I am?” Ahoeitu groaned, rolling his eyes at the girl’s cluelessness.
Suddenly, dense roots enthralled his body, slowly pulling him closer--no, into the ground. A sigh left his maw. He had seen it coming, but he didn’t move. Not out of pity or anything, but allowing her to successfully assault him opened up a whole new door of legal possibilities. He scoffed as she complained about his intrusion. Once he was knee-deep in the ground, he decided it was time to pull up, preparing to tear himself free. “Maybe you didn't hear me when I said that the bossman gave me orders to come out here and talk to you, and I'm not blaming you, I mean you live in some rackety shack in the woods, your ears are one of the last things I expect to be all cleaned out.” He paused in order to allow his words to sink in.
“But I'll say it clearer for you this time: damn your sign! I've been authorized by the old man himself to come here, specifically to speak to you!”, and with that, using his superhuman strength, he ripped off the roots that wrapped around him and pushed up from the soil before making a fast and powerful beeline towards Kyoko, stopping just on a dime right in front of her. His tailwind was certainly enough to cause a brief, heavy breeze in the girl’s direction, but as he wasn’t using his full strength, it wasn’t anything dangerous. Nothing more than a fancy warning shot. Though, in all honesty, he had no intentions in pummelling her. He didn’t know if it was out of pity or because her love for nature reminded him of his younger self, or more importantly, his mother. It made him approach her more diplomatically than usual. “Now, you’ve attacked me twice, and I’ve 'trespassed' on your land. Let’s call it even, hm? Like I was saying, Director Harisson sent me out here to recruit you to be part of a team of teenage superheroes such as myself.” He turned to the trees that enveloped the area. “I understand that you want to protect nature, but you’re doing jack shit cooped up in a public park, doing the whole ‘solo dolo’ thing. With a team, you can do and be so much more for the planet.” Of course, he still hated working with teams, and originally he had only begun speaking with the purpose of manipulation but as he continued talking, his words became more genuine. Despite his huge ego, deep down, he still wanted to save the world. Maybe Harisson and his father were...right. Maybe teamwork really will make the dream work. Huh. But he’d NEVER tell them that. Ever. His ego had shrunk a little bit but not nearly that much. To give them the satisfaction of knowing more about something than he does, the mere thought made him cringe.
Ahoeitu let out a peeved grunt when he found that there was no immediate answer to his announced arrival. Did she not know who he was or something? How was that even possible, he was THE Victory, teenage dynamite! When he knocks, there’s always an answer. This time, Ahoeitu slammed his fist even harder, though he was careful not to knock the door down with his vast strength.
Suddenly, he inhaled sharply, his head yanking upwards as shurikens whizzed past his cranium, becoming embedded into the door, though some of them severed pieces of his luscious hair. Time then seemed to move in reverse for the boy as the shurikens flew back to where they came from, and the lost pieces of hair returned to their rightful place. An attack from behind was coming his way, and he needed to move.
Bursting with speed, Ahoeitu would vanish from sight, the incoming shurikens hitting nothing but air. He then stood a length away from the cabin steps, this time facing the opposite direction of the door, this time looking the young heroine dead in the eyes. “I think you’d better thank whoever you believe in that I saw your little attack coming!”, he declared haughtily, bursting with sheer arrogance. “If it had done what it was intended to do, I’d be pretty pissed off right now.” He flipped his hair with a nonchalant swipe of his hand.
“Anyway, the bossman said we need to have a little chat!” He placed a hand on his knee, leveling his eyes with Kyoko’s. “You ever work with a team of superheroes before?”, he questioned with a curious brow, waiting for her verbal...or physical answer.

[attr="class","tagtext"] Aegis founder and director Robert Harisson came to Ahoeitu with direct orders to put together a group of young heroes, hoping to more efficiently prepare the younger members of the second super generation for the future of their careers, dedicated to saving as many lives as possible and maintaining the peace like all heroes do, while silmultaneously introducing the world to what the second generation of supers has to offer. All members are teenagers (meaning their age should have "teen" in it, so eighteen and nineteen year olds can still join), though a name has yet to be established for the upcoming group.
Power Summary Gifted powers through an experimental genetic procedure, Ahoeitu's mind really is over matter as he possesses incredible psychic abilities. He can read books at hyper speed and retain the information, memorize and perform movements he's seen once flawlessly, peek into the future when endangered and even boost his own physical capabilities to a monumental level, able to destroy mountains and run at mach 26 at the height of his power. He has only scratched the surface of what he can do, however, his confidence in himself will always be the deciding factor on whether or not he will be able to dive deeper. [break][break] History Ahoeitu was raised by a botany loving mother and a geneticist father who worked (and still works) for Aegis. Technically, Ahoeitu should have died three years ago after a tragic accident that took his mother's life during a battle between a superhero and their arch-nemesis. However he was saved when his father decided to graft the DNA of the superhero who died in that battle onto Ahoeitu's, turning him into an extremely powerful metahuman. He'd train with Aegis for years before becoming a full-time Aegis Agent and Superhero named "Victory" upon graduating Highschool. [break][break]

[break][break] [break]Power Summary After being enchanted by a yokai kitsune spirit (and thus taking the appearance of a tanuki-girl with fur, ears, and all!), Kyoko was granted the blessing of nature and the powers to control aspects of it. She can manipulate various aspects of plant and animal life, manipulate solar and lunar energy, and also come into contact with other yokai spirits. [break][break] History Before being thrown into the world of Supers and Heroism, Kyoko Hamasaki was just like any Japanese girl living in Tokyo. A girl of many passions, Kyoko had grown a love for nature and the planet from a very early age. Raised in a strict family, Kyoko often found herself secluded from her more boisterous friends which, while shaping the girl to be a more timid and solitary person, allowed her to form a deep appreciation for gardening and the environment around her. However, as news coverage became more widespread about the formation of Aegis, Kyoko had decided that she wanted to support the cause in any way possible; particularly so that she may find a way to actively devote herself to preserving the beautiful world around her. Against her parent's wishes, Kyoko attempted to run off before being confronted by a mysterious Yokai spirit in Ueno Park. Acknowledging her true desire to want to preserve nature, the Yokai granted Kyoko mystical powers.
Her resolve now sealed, Kyoko moved to Wayport City to become a registered hero. She settled down in solitude at a quaint cabin within the outskirts of Liberty Park away from the distractions of the main city. ...Until having been rudely recruited by Victory.
Irritated by the sudden move but optimistic for what this new team may bring to the table, Kyoko decided to join up. Perhaps this would help her break out of her timid shell and meet new like-aged friends that were Supers like her! Everyone likes kind animal-girls, right? [break][break]

When the plans for her magnum opus were sold off to a paramilitary organization she stole her prototype and wiped Ashita Heavy Industry's servers of all the data with her name on it. Seeing the urgent need to find who bought her plans and stop them from reaching full production she reluctantly signed with Aegis. [break]Summary It would be an easy map if that were all, but there is also first day at school, religion, fathers, the round pond, needle-work, murders, hangings, verbs that take the dative, chocolate pudding day, getting into braces, say ninety-nine, three-pence for pulling out your tooth yourself, and so on, and either these are part of the island or they are another map showing through, and it is all rather confusing, especially as nothing will stand still.

[break]Summary Of course the Neverlands vary a good deal. John's, for instance, had a lagoon with flamingoes flying over it at which John was shooting, while Michael, who was very small, had a flamingo with lagoons flying over it. [break][break] History John lived in a boat turned upside down on the sands, Michael in a wigwam, Wendy in a house of leaves deftly sewn together. John had no friends, Michael had friends at night, Wendy had a pet wolf forsaken by its parents, but on the whole the Neverlands have a family resemblance, and if they stood still in a row you could say of them that they have each other's nose, and so forth.
