Draped in her lab coat, Beatrix had just stepped out of the exit of The Royal London Hospital. She had just completed the bloodwork for her shift and was preparing to head home. It had been an arduous day within the trauma center -- emergency surgery after surgery, one stabilization after another. Thanks to the nature of her profession, Beatrix’s fear of death had seriously numbed. She saw patients pass away on the daily and it was in her hands to save the few that did manage to survive. Playing god with powerless, human patients seriously bored the redhead. She craved something more. Something dangerous, unorthodox. Perhaps even illegal. [break][break]
She waved away a fleeting thought regarding the secret lab underneath her home. Beatrix had undisclosed experiments down there. She had to keep it under wraps or Aegis would be hot on her tail. If all went well and she obtained the specimens she needed, Beatrix knew she could make quite a fantastical discovery. [break][break]
It would put her in a place of power. [break][break]
With a subdued smile across her tender lips, Beatrix stepped out onto the sidewalk of the medical facility. She quickly frowned, however, when she realized that it was considerably dark outside. She checked her watch. It wasn’t nighttime quite yet! So what could be the cause? [break][break]
As she pondered, her crimson eyes made their way up to the sky. They widened. [break][break]
”Do… My eyes deceive me?”
[break][break]
Saucers? Strange, alien-looking aircraft hovered in abundance within the sky. Proceeding the vehicles, some strange entities descended down from the sky and onto a nearby road. They obstructed traffic, causing many drivers to swerve around them in a haphazard attempt to avoid hitting the strangers. [break][break]
Beatrix’s brows furrowed. What was this-- an invasion? She needed to get a closer look. Clutching her coat and medical bag, the woman dashed forward to the scene of chaos.

[attr="class","yuki-text4"] Beatrix continued on her path, dashing forward with haste. She could feel the hot blood rushing through her body as she rushed to their agreed point of assembly. Beatrix knew the animals would have no patience when chasing after their bait, so she needed to ensure she was there on time so that her knightly partner’s flesh wasn’t torn from bone. [break][break]
She was almost there. A few more twists and turns and she’d be at the entrance of the biome. Crimson brows furrowed, as she ran on her path, she began to run scenarios in her head. What would she do if all did not go as planned? Her destination coming nearer and nearer, she assumed she would be home free in mere moments. [break][break]
Assumed. Lost in her thought, Beatrix failed to notice the silver wolf that had been stalking her from a dark junction between an alley and the pathway she was treading. [break][break]
”Agh!” [break][break]
Her step faltered. When it launched forward in a jump, the canine sunk its fangs into the pale skin of her left arm. She winced and instinctively reacted by reaching for it’s throat with her other hand. She removed it from her left and threw the wolf back onto the ground. [break][break]
Beatrix kissed her teeth. She watched the blood seep out from her wound. [break][break]
”Stupid mutt!” Beatrix hissed down -- literally -- at the wild dog. She stared at it and her eyes began to glow like they’d once did initially. However, instead of putting it into a harmless slumber, something strange began to happen. [break][break]
The wolf, that had been knocked off of its feet just a moment ago, suddenly stood. The animal whimpered helplessly. Its muscles began to contort unnaturally as if it were not in control of its own body! Beatrix smiled, bearing her own set of sharp fangs. [break][break]
”You really think you could strike me without consequence? Please, you couldn’t even keep your bloodline from being domesticated. Silly, silly dog.” [break][break]
But, she stopped suddenly when she heard the sounds of incoming commotion. Wails and roars and squawks of animals resonated off of the walls of the zoo. With a quiet grumble, her eyes reverted back to their normal color and the wolf was freed. Not after being knocked unconscious first, however. [break][break]
She couldn’t lose her cool. Not yet. [break][break]
Beatrix caught sight of the Vigilante boy soon after and gave him a nod. ”Yes, continue onward! Just keep running until we get inside!” [break][break]
She followed her own advice and rushed the rest of the way forward. Finally Beatrix was inside the savannah biome. Luscious grass and tall acacias were just a few of the plants that decorated the ecosphere. She might have taken a moment to take the pretty sight in if not for their current situation. Beatrix skidded to a stop and briskly turned around to face the incoming animals. [break][break]
”Face me, but shut your eyes --now! Just trust me on this one, okay?” She ordered. [break][break]
The animals were following this boy’s every movement. If he was turned her way, so would all the other animals. A perfect opportunity to get in their visage. Hopefully the brunet had listened to her advice. [break][break]
Her eyes illuminated, but much more intensely than before. Anyone looking her way would feel quite a sudden and intense drop in blood pressure. A feeling of vertigo would set in before all went black. [break][break]
If everything had gone as planned, one by one, all the animals would fall unconscious, falling to the grass below them harmlessly. Once they were all down, Beatrix herself knelt down and sat. That was quite a bit of exertion for one sitting. [break][break]

[attr="class","yuki-text4"] This boy caught Beatrix off guard. She rose both her crimson brows when he explained he was not affiliated with Aegis. So he was like her. Or, no, perhaps that would be too much of a stretch to say. Clearly, he had the heart of heroism within him unlike Beatrix, who simply sought her own goals and the advancement of science. He was a Vigilante whilst she lay somewhere between the grey-tinted line of good and evil. [break][break]
”A pleasant surprise,” She replied, placing her wrists back to her sides. ”I wouldn’t have to do any bargaining.” [break][break]
The knight had uttered his need for her help and Beatrix smiled pleasantly. She enjoyed when she could be in a place of power. [break][break]
”Splendid. I think it would have been a poor choice to decline; the situation has already gotten far out of hand,” The redhead said, turning her back so that she may observe the wreckage done to the zoo. [break][break]
”We should start with the largest animals. They pose the biggest threat at the moment. If you can find them and draw them in, we can round them into a more enclosed space.” Beatrix suggested. She squinted her eyes and saw a larger, savannah-like biome a little bit away. ”How about there? It should have enough space to hold them in.” [break][break]
She glanced at the vigilante-knight for a moment with more serious eyes than before.[break][break]
”I hope you know that you’re going to have to be the bait. I’ll head towards the place I pointed out. Once you get them inside, they’ll have to be in my line of sight so that I can knock them all out at once.” Beatrix spoke, ”Later, you can seek out the culprit behind this all. I believe that should all make sense.”[break][break]
And she sure hoped it did, because Beatrix did not wait much longer for further confirmation. Beatrix gave the boy a final glance before rushing off towards the biome, quickly weaving around fleeing citizens that were heading the opposite direction. [break][break]
Why were they so frightened? Well, a large snow leopard accompanied by a polar bear were rushing forward, crazed mouths opened and ready to bite down on human flesh. Beatrix took a turn, but these animals were rushing towards the boy. [break][break]

[attr="class","yuki-text4"] ”Oh? You can manipulate metal? Or is it iron? What a delightful power.” [break][break]
With a sadistic look of intrigue, a smile cursed across Beatrix’s full lips as she watched the curved bar of metal tighten around the neck of this man’s prey. She approached closer if only to get a better view of the pain of the man who’d crossed this Super. [break][break]
”Unlucky little mongrel. You should have just stayed in line. Supers are a dangerous breed to upset,” She uttered, giving a brief word to the yakuza. [break][break]
Afterward she turned back to her person of interest. Beatrix pouted at how difficult he was being but at least now it was clear that he was brighten that some of the other street rats around here. [break][break]
”So many questions. Don’t get your panties into a twist,” She scoffed, briefly rolling her eyes at all these inquiries thrown at her. [break][break]
Beatrix shifted closer, attempting to get her palms onto the dark-haired man’s shoulders. [break][break]
”I wish to do both. I want to collect some data on other Supers to complete a marvelous project of mine. I’m merely offering my help so I might get some back from you.” [break][break]
Behind the man, Beatrix’s soft lips inched closer to his neck. He would surely feel her warm breath against his skin. The tantalizing scent of blood drove Beatrix mad; she wanted a taste. Were he to let her get close enough, he’d find that Beatrix would give him a lick -- pink tongue driving against the skin of his neck. [break][break]
His blood smelled irony. It probably tasted better, too. [break][break]
”So what do you say, sweetheart? It’s a fair deal…”

[attr="class","yuki-text4"] ”An eloquent little thing, aren’t you?” Beatrix sneered under her breath, amused by this boy’s way of words. How cute. He was certainly more silver-tongued than any of the other teenagers she had the misfortune of treating. At least adults could keep their mouths shut before operations, but adolescents, on the other hand, were always a ball of incoherent nerves. [break][break]
Regardless, she stopped her mind from wandering any further into her second life. Beatrix was a surgeon by day and a scientist by… well, whenever she wasn’t on the job. [break][break]
It would seem as if he were fine, but clearly suspicious of her recent actions. Beatrix laughed aloud, giving a dismissive wave. [break][break]
”You really think I would have set this up, boy?” She chuckled, French accent weaving its way into her words, ”If I really wanted to cause trouble, it would be something much more substantial than this. A little scare like this is silly. Whoever set this up lacks any foresight. They clearly cannot tell that the drugs in which they narcotized these beasts will slowly be harming them, as well. Assuming the patrons here aren’t mauled first, thanks to those freakish steroids, those zoo animals will likely fall into cardiac arrest. If the culprit was hoping to build an army, they’ve got some bad news ahead of them.” [break][break]
Gently, Beatrix stepped past the brunet and modestly knelt down, taking a closer look at the lying primate. [break][break]
”I suspect that the drug only works in spurts; it’s only active when you’re conscious.” [break][break]
She lifted the wrist of the ape and checked its pulse. Its heart was still beating, but at a resting rate. [break][break]
”And it would seem as if my hypothesis is right, too,” Beatrix said, turning back to the boy, ”Once unconscious the effects subside. They’re all ticking timebombs, but these animals might actually be able to be saved if they're all knocked out cold.” [break][break]
She stood back up and walked over to his side, peering into his eyes in a catty manner. ”But to answer your question, I’m not getting involved because I shouldn’t. Aegis doesn’t exactly like unregistered Supers doing the work of Heroes. I’m just abiding by the rules -- unless the terms have recently changed.” [break][break]
With the assumption that he must have been a Hero, Beatrix held out her wrists, waiting to be handcuffed. A smirk spread its way across her soft lips, smugly. [break][break]
”And if so… by all means, turn me in." [break][break]
Her eyes broke contact from his when she heard another set of wails from afar. [break][break]

The chaos continued. Indifferently, Beatrix watched on as the would-be merrily going patrons ran for their lives. Some ducked for cover as avian animals swooped down to strike, others found themselves scaling fences in the desperate attempt to get to safety. Like a child deprived of their favourite plaything, Beatrix sat down on the bench with a miffed look on her face. [break][break]
”It seems it only takes a little trip of power to completely change the structure of the natural hierarchy. And one would think that if it was a world of fight or flight, humans would at least be good at the former. Oh, what a shame,” The redhead scientist groaned, rubbing her temples. Nothing about this was pleasant to witness - not that she was concerned for the wellbeing of anyone, but rather, she felt ashamed to see her kind do so poorly against a megar threat like this. [break][break]
But before Beatrix had much more time to contemplate the existence of human-kind, suddenly, a young man launched himself into the fray. A bystander who was tormented by a rabid gorilla (that Beatrix had failed to notice until now), was saved by this mysterious figure. Beatrix’s crimson eyes narrowed. He was dressed differently than everyone else. A Hero, she could only presume. [break][break]
What intrigued her more was the strength he displayed. Effortlessly, he stood up to the angry primate, stopping it with a single hand. [break][break]
Now this was the development she’d been waiting for. [break][break]
When the boy spoke to her about leaving, she stood up from her place. [break][break]
”No need for such,” Beatrix replied, before looking past him and the enemy in question. Her eyes began to give off a faint glow. [break][break]
Though her lips were shut, the woman clenched her fangs. She sensed the hot blood rushing through this mammal’s body. It was invigorated by something unnatural, she could feel. Whatever they’d eaten must have had performance enhancing steroids within it, but of an unhealthy quantity. [break][break]
”Now, let’s all just… Relax.” [break][break]
Beatrix began to manipulate the blood within the beast’s body. She starved its muscles of blood and soon, it would feel itself grow quite weak. Once it loosened its grip on the boy, it collapsed. Unconscious, but otherwise unharmed. [break][break]
She quickly rushed over to the boy’s side afterward, gazing down at him with captivated red orbs. [break][break]
”What great strength you have,” She noted, completely brushing over the fact she’d just knocked the gorilla unconscious, ”Impressive. Are you harmed?”

”Tch. Why is it that beings of low intelligence have such brute strength? Imagine how useful that raw fortitude could be for humans! Hmph, if there is some sort of god out there, it surely must scorn down at its creation; what a waste of resources.”
[break][break]
A crimson-haired woman stood idly amongst the chaos that was now unfolding within the London Zoo. From the wails Beatrix overheard, it would seem as if some rogue force -- likely an Anti-Hero -- had decided to feed the dirty zoo animals enhanced food that set them into a violent stampede. [break][break]
The woman curled her soft lips into a displeased pout. Every which way she looked, there was some weak human running away from a larger animal, be it gorilla or lion. [break][break]
Watching on, Beatrix only felt more disgusted by her own race’s fragility with every passing minute. She was no hero, but she almost felt obliged to help. This scene was just so embarrassing. [break][break]
”No… I shouldn’t get involved, lest it draw attention to me.” She muttered. [break][break]
So, the French redhead took a seat on a nearby bench, watching the chaos unfold with quite the nonchalant expression, given the circumstances. [break][break]
Some hero would save the day, she thought, like always.

”’Assistance wasn’t required’? Oho, I’d beg to defer. That cop had you in a tight place.” [break][break]
The redhead rose a defiant yet playful eyebrow and crossed her arms at this man’s response. He appeared standoffish and frankly, Beatrix couldn’t blame him. After such a tense moment and the appearance of a new person (much less a super), this man must have wanted to simply be on his merry way. [break][break]
Unfortunately for him, once she was intrigued, Beatrix wasn’t so easy to shake off. [break][break]
She moved closer, against the man’s wishes. Slowly, Beatrix neared Ichigo’s side, smiling hungrily. Now nearer to his skin, she could smell the blood coursing through his veins. What a tease. [break][break]
She whispered, ”But something tells me you could have handled it differently than a normal human. You must be a Super, no?” The redhead inquired. Promptly, Beatrix turned back to look at the thug dangling at the mercy of Ichigo. [break][break]
”I’d just like to observe. That’s how all the best scientists obtain their data, after all.” She began, ”...Perhaps I do want something from you, but it would be rude for me not to offer out a favor to you myself. If it’s information you need from this simpleton, perhaps I can ease it out of him.”

Tokyo, what a beautiful, beautiful, but loud place. A lady in a flowing dress calmly walked down one of the many sidewalks of the large city. The fair skin on her pale lips was curled up into a discontent pout. This was only slightly better than a place like New York. With so much noise and buzz, she doubted the civilians around here ever stopped to think. It was deeper engrossment into one’s mind that allowed for not only a creative outlet but for new self-discoveries as well. [break][break]
She let out a sigh, sharp canines revealed for mere moments. [break][break]
Too engrossed with their inconsequential day-to-day tasks, no one cared to stop and ponder. [break][break]
Perhaps that was why there were so many dull people on this Earth. [break][break]
”Oh well. When my plans come into fruition, no one will need to worry about such,” Mused the woman to herself quietly, weaving around a few crowds of people before making her way into the heart of the city. [break][break]
Beatrix Auclair, skilled surgeon and adept scientist, had found herself in Japan after being sent here to operate on an ill but wealthy patient. It was a sudden task assigned to her, but she did not mind. Beatrix had never been to Japan and she could only wonder how the blood of the people here tasted. [break][break]
Better yet, in a new territory, it would be possible for her to find new assets to help with her cause… [break][break]
”Hmm?” [break][break]
The redhead gazed up. She could hear quite a bit of ruckus from an alley up ahead. Was that a cop? She ambled closer. [break][break]
Now at nearer proximity, Beatrix observed the situation. It seemed as if a criminal was holding someone hostage, and the officer was at a standoff. Her crimson orbs scanned over the facial features of the criminal in question. Tense but calculating. Likely looking for a way out of the situation -- who wouldn’t be? But, something told Beatrix he did not want a spectacle. [break][break]
Perhaps… She could be of assistance. [break][break]
Beatrix ambled closer. [break][break]
”How about we all… Relax.”
[break][break]
She spoke out her words with cautious delicacy. However, as she moved nearer, her eyes began to glow. Suddenly, the cop would feel extremely light-headed. In a few more seconds, they’d find themselves unable to stand. The female cop fainted. [break][break]
”Neurocognitive deficit,” Beatrix spoke, standing before the passed out officer. ”It really strikes you when you least expect it, no? That lack of blood to your brain hits you hard.” [break][break]

”Mmm?”
[break][break]
Beatrix did as told, holding out her now bleeding palm for the other lady to hold. And what magnificent results had Yseult produced! The redhead’s brows rose with fascination when the bright light encompassed her hand, her wound’s skin sewed itself together and healed as if she’d not deliberately pierced her skin just moments before. "Splendid!" [break][break]
A smile tugged at the edges of her lips. She was surprised that Yseult had agreed so quickly. However, unsurprisingly, the other woman had her own terms. ”Fifteen? Hmph, that’s fine, I just hope any future assets aren’t too picky about money.” She said with a shrug, brushing crimson locks of hair across her shoulder. [break][break]
Beatrix moved closer again, breaching Yseult’s personal space. She hung over the woman’s shoulder once more with a wide grin, fangs clearly bared. She breathed over the other’s neck. [break][break]
”Regarding your powers… They intrigue me. So you have the ability to heal? Is it by scientific means or… Something more magical? Furthermore, I can smell your blood. It doesn’t smell like what I’d expect of a human. Exotic fluid hidden under succulent skin. I can only wonder how you taste… Haah.” [break][break]
The scientist grew closer and would try to take a nibble if Yseult didn’t move away or object. If successful, she’d attempt to draw a bit of blood. If not, she’d have taken a couple of steps back and break out into a fit of giggles. [break][break]
”Your DNA would be useful. I could implement healing factors into my most recent prototype, and perhaps any other mystical abilities you’re cloaking. I would only need a blood sample with an addition of saliva, at most. [break][break]
The serum I have now has kinks I must iron out. At this moment, while it enhances a person’s physical capabilities, it’s not without its side-effects. It makes the user very blood-reliant. One must get a daily fix of another’s human blood to avoid falling into a state of delirium.” [break][break]
Beatrix sighed and gazed around. There was still a bit of trash to be collected. [break][break]
”I’d love to speak more on it, but I feel much more comfortable within my lab. A change of scenery would put things into perspective far more easily.”
Were the trio of words Beatrix uttered first in response to Yseult. After having filled a rubbish bag full of miscellaneous debris, Beatrix tied its opening and set the large bag onto the grass. The redhead opted to move to the side of her snowy-haired counterpart, attempting to glance into sharp azure orbs even if Yseult did not make direct eye contact. [break][break]
She gave a small grin, the urge to bear her fangs more noticeably tugging at her subconscious. “You seem to work splendidly for others and often too as a maid, but have you ever thought about being the one to make the orders?” [break][break]
An ominous inquiry. Beatrix knew she needed to expand. [break][break]
”What I plan to propose definitely requires an open mind… However, I know if successful, not only will it garner mounds of monetary benefit, but you’ll also be in quite a high place yourself. People will satisfy your every whim because they know you’re the one in charge-- the one with the knowledge and power.” She spoke, her own words fueling her greedy imagination once more. [break][break]
Beatrix let out a sigh, bright crimson eyes lingering on the flesh of Yseult’s neck. Beatrix could smell Yseult’s blood, although its scent was a little mysterious-- unlike any human blood she’d come into contact with. Its exoticisim made Beatrix a wee bit curious. She would have been drooling if she were a starved mutt. It was tempting to want to take a bite, if not a soft nibble. With such a strange scent, the woman could only wonder how her blood tasted. [break][break]
She managed a closed-mouth smile and said in a hushed tone, “I’m a doctor, a very smart and successful one, in fact. Over the years, I’ve made much research and have come close to nearly perfecting a special serum - one that draws upon a human’s peak performance. It alters one’s blood and rejuvenates it to max performance, making you nearly completely resistant to illness and makes you incredibly tenacious in terms of strength and agility.” [break][break]
Beatrix broke her gaze for a moment to look at a collection of trees before them. “It would have already been made if not for Aegis’ stubbornness. They likely thought it a threat to their own Superhero organization because it had the ability to create more mutants even though it could conversely be used to save many lives. I tried to pitch it to them but they had no interest. But this did not damper my motivation. In fact, it’s made me more determined to perfect my serum in its entirety. [break][break]
Once it's complete, I’d be able to sell it for exorbitant prices on the black market. Folks of all walks of life would want to get their hands on it, and, perhaps, even be involved with further research. Do you realize how much of a place of power that could put one in if they controlled operations of such a drug?” She spoke, grinning once more. “Aegis would have to eventually give in. It would be magnificent.” [break][break]
Beatrix cleared her throat and redirected her focus. ”You must be wondering how you come into play with this, though. To perfect the serum, I need DNA samples from multiple people, specifically, Supers. That may not be easy to get on its own, however. I am only one woman. I need help tracking down more Supers and either convincing them to join my research or doing so forcibly. I fear that blood may have to be shed for the greater good. I need a bit of man-- or, in this case, woman power to back me up. Your multi-talented resume makes me think you may be helpful with this sort of task. I intend to give all my associates a large share of the money made from this endeavor. I’m mostly after the prestige as I am already comfortable with my financial situation.” She explained, raising her amber-orange eyebrows as she did so. [break][break]
”And, well… If you need some consolidation that my efforts with the serum have been quite successful so far and I’m not just talk--” [break][break]
Beatrix moved away from the other female and ambled towards a pile of much heavier, fallen debris. It consisted of large bricks and a few metal lamp posts. The woman bit into hand and allowed the blood from her freshly created wound to drip onto some of the junk. Beatrix, once satisfied, motioned her hands and her spilled blood began to move, forming itself into a sort of “blood net” around the large pile of junk. With a wave of her left hand, the captured pile was lifted a few feet off the ground with ease. [break][break]
”The serum has done wonders to me. I was completely powerless before. I can do much more, but this may not be the best place to become a showoff. ” [break][break]
Beatrix hovered the pile of debris into a larger garbage bin nearby. She turned back to Yseult. [break][break]
”I could expand further… But what say you? Might any of this pique your interest?”
Beatrix rose a single, perplexed eyebrow at this lady’s articulate yet confusing response. Beatrix was never one for poetry. As a scientist, Beatrix enjoyed straightforward and comprehensively coherent answers that had no uncertainties or doubts. This wasn’t the reply she was anticipating, but whatever, it would do. Clearly, this lady was either mad or a bit smarter than most - the decision would have to be finalized in these coming minutes. [break][break]
Now that she was here, though, the medical practitioner noticed that the woman next to her was dressed awfully fitting for the task at hand. She gave a meek smile, hoping to spark some conversation free of interpretation and said, “Your dress is pretty. Familiar in a way, actually. It looks like a French maid outfit. I’d know, since I am French myself. Is that your preferred style, or do you have a job that requires it being worn?” With fabric of such quality, Beatrix could only imagine that she was of service to wealthy individuals. Perhaps she cleaned mansions? [break][break]
Well, Beatrix’s hypotheses would prove to be correct in some ways. As she accepted the tools from the other, she was also handed over a business card. [break][break]
”Oh?” [break][break]
Beatrix read it. She was, in fact, a maid. “’Yseult’? A beautiful name. So you are French as well, no?” [break][break]
She doubted anything else would be there, but with her now gloved hands, Beatrix flipped the card to the other side. She was about to stow it away into her pocket before her bright amber eyes did a double take. Beatrix moved the card closer to her face and inspected its print. [break][break]
And what she read… Oh, it fascinated her immensely! She grinned wide and chuckled, forgetting to catch herself for smiling too profusely to hide her sharp fangs. [break][break]
”Quite the multi-talented maid, aren’t you?” Beatrix giggled, finally putting the card away. ”I think this may be quite useful in the future. Quite useful indeed.” [break][break]
Having picked up a rubbish bag, Beatrix modestly knelt down and began picking up various debris. [break][break]
”But, unfortunately, I cannot say I currently have the money to fund such outrageous prices. Do you ever accept less… typical forms of payment?” [break][break]
Even as her hands went to work, Beatrix took a moment to side-eye Yseult, awaiting a response.

“Gah… What a mess. I swear, some Supers are absolute monstrosities. Surely they don’t deserve the freakish powers bestowed upon them. I can only wonder how these strange occurrences happen among humans naturally.”
[break][break]
Oh no. Here Beatrix was again, monologuing to a non-existent audience. It was nothing new. The fair-skinned, crimson-haired lady’s level of conversation was often a little too insightful for many of her friends’ liking. She was often told she thought too hard on insignificance. [break][break]
Beatrix always argued she was just too smart to not care. [break][break]
Basking in the warmth of this sunny afternoon, Beatrix had taken the day off from her demanding medical job to take a long and quiet walk. The woman had much to think over, after all. After migrating to London under the guise of a French medical doctor looking to expand her practice, Beatrix had moved forward with the fundamental steps of her master plan. She needed to situate herself comfortably within these city limits in order to observe the most intricate workings of the society here. Or, in layman’s terms, she needed to get into contact with Supervillains and heroes alike to determine what would be the best course of action for her endeavors. Beatrix required willing test subjects -- those with superhuman abilities -- to perfect the Crimson Miracle and create her army of super-soldiers. [break][break]
The woman clenched her sharp fangs excitedly, a little skip now weaving its way into her sway down the sidewalk. The thought of a large infantry of faultless superhumans answering to her every whim made her blood rush. Her cheeks flushed. Oh, what a dream that would be! “One step at a time, Bea… Have patience,” She quietly whispered to herself. “All of your plans will come to fruition soon.” [break][break]

“I’ll help out as well,” She said simply to the warden, briskly walking past him before he could get a word out. [break][break]
Beatrix approached with a friendly smirk across her features. Delicately, she tippy-toed around broken glass and demolished wood that lay on the grass, moving closer to the other woman. [break][break]
“It’s really bad, isn’t it?” She spoke, stating the obvious. “I just came over to help out. Do you know what happened here? I've been out of the loop.”
