BIOGRAPHY

Queen Crimson hadn’t always been her blood-driven, somewhat malicious self. Born Beatrix Auclair, as a girl, it was clear to her family members that she was a very gifted lass. She was extremely intelligent and seemed to have years of intuition above her peers. As such, she was sent to a school for gifted children where she could hone her art and, perhaps, pursue a dream of her own. [break][break]

Beatrix excelled throughout her elementary, middle, and high school years. It helped that she had a boisterously kind personality and a bright smile to match. She was beloved by many; it seemed as if nothing would get into the way of this ray of sunshine! [break][break]

But, little did they know that Beatrix was not perfect. Little did they know that she’d been dealing with struggles of her own, those that she did not wish to make public. Beatrix’s family was not the most wealthy; most of her school funding came from scholarships. On top of that, Beatrix had an ill younger sibling: her brother. He suffered from a rare disease that was deteriorating his body little by little. Treatment was expensive and the ailment he was suffering from was still very much being studied. As such, the girl’s family was banking on Beatrix becoming successful quickly in order to garner enough money to perhaps help with her younger brother’s treatment. [break][break]

It put Beatrix under much stress, however, she was able to hide it behind a meek and tender smile. Beatrix eventually graduated high school (and quite early at that, too), and subsequently college as well. Beatrix became a medical practitioner. She was an excellent surgeon and was often acclaimed as one of the top practitioners within France. She worked on all different types of patients. [break][break]

However, on the side, she was always nose-deep in books, attempting to research her brother’s condition in a futile effort to find a cure. [break][break]

But in the process, she’d created a strange concoction creation of her own… It was a prototype treatment that had not been tested or proven, but Beatrix was confident that it might be useful if she was given funding to study it more. [break][break]

It was a serum meant to be a replacement or augmentation of one’s blood. It would greatly empower one’s body as it was a fusion of many blood types made to be compatible with a human’s body. It would fuel one's body and give them immense strength to fight off any viruses. [break][break]


Beatrix pitched her idea to many pharmaceuticals, all of which turned her down. They feared that her experiments would be dangerous, unethical, or not profitable. This greatly angered Beatrix; she only wanted to save her little brother’s life! [break][break]

Out of options, Beatrix tried to approach Aegis with her plan, which they promptly struck down. In fact, the heroic organization took legal measures to make sure Beatrix stopped the production of this mysterious serum in fear that it could produce dangerous levels of mutations within the human body. Beatrix’s lab was searched and all of her research was either destroyed or taken away. This development broke the woman. All those years of hard work… Thrown out like trash. Metaphorically brunt to crisps. [break][break]

Later that year, her brother peacefully passed away in his sleep. [break][break]

She was upset. [break][break]

She was confused. [break][break]

She was… Enraged. [break][break]

Fueled by the anger of her lost work and dead sibling, Beatrix decided that she’d begin to take matters into her own hands. She was going to do research on her confiscated drug to create the finest breed of human she could; ones that would be immune to deadly viruses like the ones that killed her brother, and ones that would be biologically ‘perfect’. They would not die of old age nor would they ever fall ill. [break][break]

Beatrix still had one sole bottle of her strange serum, which she now named “The Crimson Miracle”, and injected it into herself. She didn’t know what would happen, but surely, it would make her into an even better human. [break][break]

Well, she surely got what she had asked for. Upon injection, a massive reaction ensued. Beatrix collapsed with pain as the serum flowed through her veins. It altered her physiology. Her once platinum blonde hair turned into a bright crimson tone. Her teeth became sharp. Her skin became fair and blemishless, and she looked much younger than she actually was. She was more muscular and athletic. And perhaps, most spectacularly of all, she had the ability to manipulate blood. Beatrix felt like a vampire, despite not being a literal one. [break][break]

In the coming months, Beatrix practiced her powers in secret, honing the art of blood manipulation as well as learning to fuel her body with blood. She soon learned that, with the way the serum had reacted with her body, she would require blood from others to keep herself alive and stable. Going long periods without blood made her fall into a state of delirium. [break][break]

It meant that it was time to hunt. [break][break]

Moving forward with her plan, Beatrix decided that she would need to use unconventional means to achieve her goals. Beatrix guised herself under the alias “Queen Crimson”, and secretly moved away to London after her brother’s funeral procession in order to meet up with secretive dark magicians. Infusing her scientific knowledge along with their dark arts, she had the plan of making an army of super-soldiers, ones of the purest kind, while also feeding off of the weaker humans for blood. She would not go ignored again. Aegis would pay for what they’d done. [break][break]

CHARACTER POWERS

✰ BLOOD MANIPULATION [break]
Blood Manipulation. [break][break]

Beatrix can increase her strength, speed (can reach speeds of 220,000), and regeneration (can regrow limbs) by consuming or manipulating the flow of blood within different areas. [break][break]

X - Beatrix can only increase one attribute at a time. [break][break]

X - Beatrix can only regenerate one limb within a single thread. [break][break]

Blood Consumption: Beatrix can consume blood to empower herself or use for sustenance. [break][break]

X - Beatrix’s body requires the blood of others to fuel herself. In a combat thread, if she cannot draw blood from an opponent within 6 posts, she will begin to fall into a state of delirium, possibly turning against her allies. [break][break]

X - Beatrix will become sick from consuming blood without human traces. [break][break]

Bloodbending: Beatrix can use blood to control the motor functions of others against their will as if they were a marionette.[break][break]

Brain Asphyxiation: Beatrix has The ability to shut down a person's brain functions by limiting blood flow to their brain , rendering them unconscious. [break][break]

X - These abilities always require OOC Permission. [break][break]
X - Useless against anything without blood or lacking human traces of blood. [break][break]

Blood Solidification/Artillery: Beatrix can solidify or give solid-like properties to blood with the level of solidity going from loose jelly to metal-like hardness or beyond. She can create a max of 10 constructs at any given time. [break][break]

X - Beatrix must have blood to source off from, be it her own or someone else’s. Using too much of her own can leave her anemic, weak, or even incapacitated. [break][break]

Density Manipulation: Beatrix can manipulate the density of her body or her blood constructs by manipulating factors within her blood. She can alter blood weight (and subsequently launch it) to a max of 10^6 kg.[break][break]

Blood Cloning: Beatrix can create clones using blood.[break][break]

X - Both abilities use a great amount of blood, and thus, other abilities cannot be used at the same time when these are in use. [break][break]

X - Both may only activate when a larger laceration is done to Beatrix’s body. [break][break]

X - Beatrix can only create 5 clones at any given time. [break][break]

Dermal Armor: Beatrix can generate an innate armor as a part of their body by hardening the blood in her body in specific areas, thus making her body more resistant to attacks, harm or pain, and temperature extremes. Beatrix’s body is bulletproof when this is in use, and can sustain forces of up to 10^8kg before breaking [break][break]

X - Beatrix can still feel pain (her armor is biological), and, while some forces may not be ultimately fatal to her, she can still be defeated when overwhelmed by many painful forces. [break][break]

X - Beatrix sacrifices speed for durability when in use.[break][break]

X - If one were to disrupt the process of "armoring up" the results would be Beatrix losing the ability to armor up for quite awhile.[break][break]

Blood Link: Beatrix can communicate with people afar telepathically if they’ve ingested or otherwise absorbed her own blood. [break][break]

Lust Manipulation: By releasing bodily pheromones, Beatrix can manipulate the lust of herself, people, animals and other creatures, whether by increasing, decreasing, causing, or otherwise channeling lust. She can make people fall in love with her for an hour, or persuade suitors to go on tasks for her.[break][break]

Desire Amplification: Beatrix can amplify desire of people around her.[break][break]

X - May not work on people with strong convictions (like marital bonds), or chastity. [break][break]
X - Beatrix cannot control what a person goes about with their amplified desire. [break][break]

Illusory Pheromones: Beatrix can alter the pheromones in her body to make herself look older or younger.[break][break]
