Black Hearth was a relatively new villain on the scene, but was ready to make some trouble. One of his robot soldiers had overheard a street tough talking about some kind of meeting. It was supposedly a meeting of villains who were trying to take down Aegis headquarters. If he remembered correctly, that's where all those do-gooders got their funding from. Perhaps if he joined up with the scoundrels, he could make a few new allies. Attending an event such as this one would require a bit of class however, and the dark lord would be more than ready for that. getting dressed on the bridge of his ship, Black Hearth would tighten a striped tie. The man didn't usually wear clothing, but this was a special occasion. "Excellent, perfectly dapper for my meeting... Oh, one last thing. Necro-drones, fetch me my sword!"
a crew of robots would run over caring the sword and large sheath. The would strap the massive blade to Black Hearth's waist and dark back to their positions. Now that we was armed and dangerous, the evildooer's ship would appear from the clouds as usually, allowing himself and three of his minions to land. Many citizens would point and notice the massive craft, but it would be gone as quickly as it have arrived. Black hearth found himself in a secluded alley, close to the meeting point. He wasn't sure if there was some kind of code phrase to get in or something similar, but the man could be quite persuasive.
Turning a corner, he would see a well dressed man holding a clipboard. The guy was bald and wearing glasses, obviously a bouncer for the meeting. Black Hearth would approach the man with his robotic grunts, "I believe I have a meeting to attend." The man would begin searching the list for a name, only to ask "Name please?" The metal warlord would cross his arms before stating "Black Hearth the Death Eater." Double checking his notes, the man would shake his head "Not on the list... Get lost pal." Black Hearth was at a loss for words hearing that. This guy had just turned him down!? Was he serious?
clearing his throat aggressively, Black Hearth's necro-drones would step forward, all with plasma rifles powered up. "ya wanna redact that statement?" Before things could come to conflict, a voice would be heard from inside the building. "Eyyy, Black Hearth, I remember him we went to highschool together..." a man wearing an expensive coat, oversized hat, and blinders would walk out putting an arm around the evil over lord. "Don't ya remember me? Don, ya old buddy? Play along." Black Hearth would perk up "Wha- Don, of course. Oh, it's been too long..." Don would wave at the bouncer declaring, "It's cool Jimmy, he's with me."
Walking inside, the man would explain "Sorry about him, he a bit of a -rule follower- shall we say... Truth is, we need everyone we can get for this op, that includes you, Mr. Hearth." Black Hearth understood the reasoning, the more men they had, the greater their chances of taking down hero HQ. Don would lead the armored man down a dark corridor to a run-down looking bar and lounge. All sorts of well dressed thugs seemed to be talking amongst each other, all making various plots and plans. For Black Hearth, this felt like home. Pure, raw, untamed evil schemes. It was a glorious sight to behold. "It warms my heart to see such villainy, and all in a single room! My my, I can already tell I'm going to love this place.
In the middle of the room was a large wooden table with rows of chairs on each side. The place seemed to be settling down, as a group of well-dressed thugs would take a seat. The rest of the criminals seemed to be taking seats as well, business was about to begin. Black Hearth would sit next to Don at the table, having his armed robots stand behind him. The leader of the bunch appeared to be some sort mobster, fedora, black suite, the works.
"Alright you shmucks, let's get down to business. Don, you're supplying the weapons, right? Best damn arms dealer in town, so ya better be..." Don would put his hands behind his head chuckling with a cocky grin, giving the boss man a thumbs up. "Now, Bobby B. is suppose to be supplying the man power, correct? If that's the case, then we're in business." A bald fellow would reply, "you've got it boss, all the man power ya need." chuckles would be heard around the room, and Black Hearth realized something. he wasn't the leader of this group, this well dressed crook was. Sure he wanted to knock the supes down a peg, but not if he wasn't the one leading the charge. The tyrant would clear his throat, finally speaking up "Well now, who made you the boss around here, hmmm?" The man would chuckle in response before snapping his fingers. Two guards holding tommy guns stepped forward. "I made me the boss, uh, what was your name again shmuck?" Blakc Hearth's anger would grow as the two guards stepped forward, "My name is Black Hearth the Death Eater. The pillager of Al--" The thug would already be laughing at the villain's title. "Heh heh, what a dramatic name... How bout this, speak up again, you get shot. capeesh?"
Black Hearth's ship had just entered orbit of the planet earth, and was already plotting his first move. The evil overlord would sit on a throne-like chair in the bridge of his ship, legs crossed, and stroking his chin. While he had destroyed the remnants of his race, his plans for earth were much darker. Unlike his people, who he granted a quick death, he would make the humans suffer. Not a single one of their kind had spited him, it was simply the evil thing to do. Tapping a finger on the arm of his throne, Black Hearth would mutter "Hmmm... So this is that pathetic blue planet... Earth. Necro-Drones!"
A single drone would run to his master, handing the dark lord a glass of red wine. "Ah, this should help me think." Taking a sip of the beverage, he would begin to formulate a plan. He would start with a fairly minor crime, to test earth's defenses, and would go from there. That seemed like a straight forward plan, a practical one even. Standing up, he would clap his hands once, causing a small group of his robots to gather around. "Alright you buckets of bolts! Today we make our first move against the planet earth! I need six of our best to step forward, for a special mission..." Six robots would step forward, without hesitation, all saluting. "Now that's what I like to see! Pilot, take us down..."
The large black spaceship would slowly descend from the sky, and appear over the city of London. It was perhaps the busiest hour of the day, and many were coming home from work. A hatch would open from the bottom of the massive craft, allowing Black Hearth and his small crew of minions to descend to the ground. They didn't just land anywhere however, but in the middle of a four-way intersection! The horns of cars would honk from all directions, as Black Hearth would let out a maniacal laugh. This was his plan all long! "Necro-drones! Split up! Let's see how these pathetic humans like our jaywalking! MWHAHAHAHA!"
Black Hearth is one of the few surviving Alkin in the galaxy. His species are characterized by metal skin, appearing as walking suits of armor rather than living beings. Black Hearth himself has skin comprised of a black metal, flaming eyes, and metal horns on his head. The man looks as evil as he acts. [break][break] [break][break]

Personality Evaluation
[break][break]
Black Hearth is a self acknowledged tyrant and sociopath who knowingly tries to commit evil acts for the sake of evil. The metal man strives to become as evil as possible, committing as many dastardly crimes as possible, from loitering to world domination. While many seek to be good, and kind to other members of society, Black Hearth sees evil as his religion. The more evil he becomes, the closer to enlightenment he believes he gets.[break][break]
The man may seem quite frightening due to his philosophy in life, and has gained a significant following in the process. In reality however, the man is far too petty and childish to every truly become evil. The man is easily set off by minor insults, commits negligible crimes most of the time, and is generally not taken seriously by other villains for this reputation. In short, while he is a potentially dangerous threat, Black Hearth has little in the way of like-minded allies. Without help, he and his battalion of robots can only do so much damage.[break][break]
Black Hearth was born on a distant world one solar system away from earth. His world was very similar to that of earth's, but far more technologically advanced. The young alkin, as his kind were called, was a runt by most standards. He was much smaller, thinner, and generally weaker than his brothers and sisters. Respectively, he would constantly be berated and teased about his size as a child. His parents also seemed to favor his older siblings, while discouraging him. This cycle of sadness and pain would cause the young metal man to become a shut-in, reading books rather than playing outside.[break][break]
Black Hearth would spend much of his free time reading adventure stories and fantasy novels about his people. Mythology was his favorite subject. In an effort to outdo his siblings, the young boy would vow to become the smartest Alkin alive! He would study tirelessly, always besting his peers in highschool testing. Unfortunately, this effort would only get him labeled as a 'nerd' and bullied even greater. After some time had passed, he would eventually discover a book hidden deep within his school library. It was a dusty old tome, writing in an ancient language few knew, Al-Latin. luckily, he had picked up the knowledge, and was able to read the thing.[break][break]
In a wild turn of events, the book was a grimoire of dark magic. A book filled with incantations for all sorts of rituals and spells. The book would promise the reader anything they desired, if they would swear their soul to evil. While most would decline, Black Hearth did not. Writing "I agree" on a page, a strange power would come over him. He became imbued with pure evil, and all it's gifts.[break][break]
He learned spells of Dark Technomancy. Gaining control of the dead and machines alike. He would learn of spells that could turn the bodies of the dead into his own robot army, as long as he had the right number of corpses, and the know how.[break][break]
Deciding to get his revenge against the bullies who had wronged him, Black Heart would visit his town's cemetery to test his new power. Before him, an army of dark murderous robots made in his image would arise. They would go on a massive killing spree, murdering his entire town in the night. The metal man would use his skills again to summon forth for soldiers from the dead, and become a warlord of sorts, slowly killing all who lived on his home world. While others of his kind may have escaped, the man figured it was unlikely... [break][break]
With his home world wiped away of life, he decided it was time to move on to another world. He wouldn't attempt geocide there, but perhaps total domination... The closest planet he found, was earth. [break][break]
Black Hearth is a member of the Alkin race. They are a humanoid alien species characterized by metal armor-like skin. Members of his kind are often 10-12 feet tall, and weigh roughly 650 lbs. While the species' can take more damage than humans, their skin can still be penetrated by bullets and the like. It would be the effective equivalent of a human wearing platemail armor. Unfortunately, due to Black Hearth's genocidal rampage, much of has species have been slaughtered. Certain members of the Alkin posses magical abilities that are buried deep within their minds. These powers were usually technomancy or necromancy. In the case of Black Hearth, it was a twisted form of technomancy.[break][break]
X- While durable and sturdy, the weight of the metal skin tends to slow him down quite a bit. He's roughly 2/3rds as fast as an average human because of this.[break][break]
Exposing himself to the power of the grimoire has granted Black Hearth an oddly specific, but powerful ability. Through the powers of ancient technomancy, he is capable of creating technological constructs from corpses.[break][break]
While there are many listed applications of Technomagic, the only form Black Hearth can use is "Technological Constructs" which require once living corpses to create.[break][break]
Black Hearth has learned the arts of 'Dark Technomancy', a special form of technomancy that requires once living corpses to create machines. He can only use technomancy for the purposes of creating technological constructs such as robots, weapons, vehicles, and ships. Creating these constructs requires human corpses, which are magically converted into machines! While within 30 feet of a corpse, Black Hearth can fire a beam of black energy from the palm of his hand. Once the beam strikes the body, it melts into a liquid metal. This metal is similar to mercury in appearance and properties. Once melted, Black hearth can sustain the beam to reshape the puddle into a machine of his choosing. The machine he reshapes a corpse into must be one he has studied in detail, and could mentally recreate. For this reason, there are only a couple of different things he can actually create with this power.[break][break]
Primarily, he uses this power to create "Necro-Drones" his personal robotic minions. These minion rise wielding rifles that fire plasma bolts, but are slower than modern bullets. While dangerous in large numbers, a trained fighter could easily defeat a nerco-drone. Creating a Necro-Drone requires one corpse per robot, though Black Hearth can create up to two at once if he fully dedicated his turn to it. (Note: Necro-Drones are intended to be fodder enemies, like battle droids from star wars, or putty patrol from power rangers.)[break][break]
Aside from his Necro-Drones, there are three other machines he can make with his abilities, but rarely does. If Black Hearth can get his hands on ten corpses at once, he can spend two posts to create his "Skull Walker". It's a massive walking tank of a robot, equipped with twin plasma guns, it's about as effective as a modern tank. Alternatively, if the dark lord can manage fifteen corpses, he can spend two posts to create a "Death Bot" instead. This machine is a large walking mech, roughly 25 ft in height, and armed with plasma cannons around it's head. The Death Bot can only be piloted manually, as oppose to his other creations. The greatest machine he can create with this ability is something he only ever did once. He can construct the "The Death Boat" a hulking space ship the size of a small sky scraper, complete with several large cannons. The chances of him ever constructing a second are little to none, as he would need an entire city's worth of bodies, and several hours of concentration.[break][break]
Outside of his current robots, Black Hearth does take some time to study other potential designs, but lacks the creativity for the time being.[break][break]
Limitations and Weaknesses: Such an impressive power would obviously come a vast array of limitations and weaknesses.[break][break]
X- First and foremost, for Black Hearth to create anything, he would need to be near dead corpses. The corpse must be roughly adult human in size, as anything smaller would not provide enough metal to reshape.[break][break]
X- While Black Hearth can turn corpses into liquid metal, he cannot effect bodies that have already been reanimated, or that are undead creatures.[break][break]
X- He also cannot use this power to resurrect necro-drones that have been destroyed. He must use organic matter that was once alive to create more.[break][break]
X- As a general rule of thumb, the larger the mechanical object, the more bodies and time it takes to create. It also requires an intricate knowledge of the object to create it.[break][break]
X- While Black Hearth's constructs are loyal to him, they can still be taken control of, hacked, or shut down by anything that would effect a regular robot. Electromagnetic pulses can also cause his robots to malfunction.[break][break]
