The stranger drew closer, and the hairs on the back of Ichigo's neck stood on end. A low and threatening growl escaped from the back of his throat. Her playful tone wouldn't fool him, not when his instincts were telling him she was bad news.[break][break]
Yet despite the voice in the back of his head telling him not to. Ichigo still found himself engaging with her.[break][break]
He answered her question by popping one of the lengths of metal off the front of his armor. It couldn't have been more than fourteen inches long, the perfect length for what he had in mind.[break][break]
It hovered in front of his chest, bending into a u-shape but otherwise remaining stationary. Once Ichigo removed his hand from the thug's throat, it launched towards him. Pinning the yakuza to the wall and tightening around his windpipe.[break][break]
"Is that good enough of an answer for you?" he asked.[break][break]
His eyes narrowed suspiciously when she offered her aide, "Why would you help me gaijin?" they were strangers. There was no logical reason for her to get involved in this any further than she already had.[break][break]
"First you say you'd like to observe and then you offer help? Which is it? You cannot both observe and help - the hawk cannot also be the rabbit."

Catching sight of the redhead from over the officer’s shoulder, Ichigo frowned. Just what he needed, another intruder to deal with. Ichigo kept his eyes glued to the ginger as she crept closer into view. When her pupils began to glow he quickly looked away and gripped the handle of his katana. Moments after averting his gaze, Ichigo heard a ‘thud’ as the officer’s body collapsed onto the ground.[break][break]
His frown deepened, had she just killed that police officer with a stare? Ichigo quickly glanced at the officer’s body. Judging by the gentle rise and fall of their chest, they were only unconscious.[break][break]
”Good.” he thought, for the moment he’d stay his blade.[break][break]
When she turned to him Ichigo made sure to avoid making eye contact with her. He wasn’t sure how her power worked but he wasn’t taking any chances. "Nothing worth your time." replied Ichigo dryly.[break][break]
Taking his eyes off her but remaining on guard, he lifted the still struggling thug up from the ground. With his hand now clasping the man’s throat, he locked eyes with the crook.[break][break]
”This yakuza-wannabe just has some information I need.” said Ichigo, an almost palpable anger in his voice. His fingers twitched and an urge to snap the thug’s neck invaded his thoughts.[break][break]
”A frog in a well does not know the great sea.” he muttered with a deep breath.[break][break]
He glanced back to the redhead, "Your assistance wasn't needed foreigner but thank you regardless." with a heavy frown Ichigo added, "Now, unless you want something from me - please leave."[break][break]

"L-l-listen man, I'm telling you! I don't know anything about the dude you're looking for." the criminal's panicked voice echoed out from the dimly lit alley.[break][break]
Ichigo's eyes narrowed underneath his helmet, "You're lying!" he growled and grabbed the man by the collar of his shirt. Effortlessly lifting the thug off the ground, Ichigo slammed him into the wall behind them. The wall cracked from the impact, and the thug grimaced in pain.[break][break]
"You've got one more chance to tell me what I want to know before things get worse for you." as if Ichigo's seriousness wasn't clear enough already. He used his magnetism to manipulate the watch on the man's wrist, dragging him up the wall several feet and leaving him there to dangle. Feeling particularly spiteful, Ichigo then reached out and crushed the watch, breaking the man's wrist.[break][break]
"Okay!" he cried out in pain, "I'll tell you...I'll tell you." hearing those words, Ichigo released his control over the watch. The thug dropped to the ground, but before he could start telling Ichigo what he wanted to know, the two were interrupted.[break][break]
A bright beam of light shot down the alleyway illuminating the previously darkened space. At the other end of the light was a police officer, curious about all the noise. It only took her a few seconds to figure out something shady was going on, and she immediately reached for her gun.[break][break]
"Help! This freak is trying to-" in one swift motion, Ichigo placed his hand over the thug's mouth and pinned him to the ground.[break][break]
"Shut up." he commanded, his eyes still locked on the officer at the other end of the alley. This wasn't how tonight was supposed to go. The police presence in Kichijoji should have been next to non-existent with that new gemstone exhibit opening up.[break][break]
She had her firearm aimed at him now, her finger on the trigger ready to fire. It would have been easy to reach out and yank it from, but that would just escalate the situation.[break][break]
"I don't want to hurt you, but I will if you don't turn around and walk away." Ichigo had done his best to avoid confrontations with the police so far. They weren't his enemy, and in many ways, he still saw himself as one of them. But he should have known that something like this was going to happen sooner or later.[break][break]
"Let him go and walk towards me slowly with your hands up." she ordered.[break][break]
Ichigo frowned from underneath his helmet, "I'm afraid I can't do that. This man has information that I need, and besides," he squeezed tighter on the thug's face, "he's done some pretty horrible things to decent people. I'm just evening balancing the scales." said Ichigo coldly.[break][break]
It was only going to be a matter of time before her partner got here. He needed to defuse this situation and quickly...

Raised by a single father who worked a lot, Ichigo spent a lot of his childhood with his father absent. Neighbors would occasionally check on him but otherwise Ichigo mostly took care of himself. By age eight he was cooking his own meals and doing his own laundry.[break][break]
Ichigo learned he was a metahuman when he was nine. He bumped a knife off the counter while cooking and stopped it mid-air before it could stab him. Ichigo didn't tell anyone about the incident after it happened. He already felt like an outcast and didn't want to make it worse.[break][break]
Before he was allowed to leave the house on his own, he'd watch his father's old samurai movies to past time. Dramatic period pieces about a time in japan's history that had long past.
When he was sixteen Ichigo joined his high school's kendo club. It was there that he met the woman who would later before his wife, Aoi Nakada. She was the club's captain and a year older than him. The two didn't get along at first, bickering and arguing with each other constantly. That changed when Aoi witnessed Ichigo using his powers. Rather than think of him as some kind of freak, she was accepting and vowed to keep his secret.
Not wanting to be a hero but still wanting to do something worthwhile with his life. Ichigo opted to enlist as a police officer once he finished school. Much to his surprise, Ichigo excelled as a police officer and was promoted in just two years.
Shortly after making detective, he asked Aoi to marry him and she said yes. They had the wedding a few months later at a local temple. Married for four years and expecting a child, Ichigo's life was thrown into chaos when tragedy struck. A gang attempting to rob a bank was caught mid heist. Panicking, the robbers took the people inside the bank as hostages, Aoi amongst them.
With the leader of the robbers being a particularly powerful metahuman, there wasn't anything the police could do. They were forced to wait until a hero arrived to help. When one did show, they failed to stop the villainous metahuman from killing several of the hostages and making his escape. Aoi was one of those people that the hero failed to save.
Riddled with grief and blaming the hero and his lack of strength for Aoi's death. Ichigo left the police department and began to obsessively hunt for the villain that killed his wife. He followed every lead, dispatching criminals with ruthless precision and leaving a trail of bodies in his wake.
Dubbed the Iron Demon by police, Ichigo is still hunting for the villain that murdered his wife. And continues to deal with other criminals and villains.
X - Overuse and over exertion of his magnokinesis can cause painful migraines, nosebleeds, andl unconsciousness.[break][break]
Magnetic Energy Manipulation: By manipulating the flow of magnetic energy, Ichigo can fire powerful projectiles. Either as concussive blasts or crescent-shaped waves of energy. The latter of which is capable of severing limbs and slicing through steel with ease.[break][break]
X - Gathering the energy needed to use either projectile takes a considerable amount of effort. This limits how often Ichigo can fire them and prevents them from being used in rapid succession. The crescent-shaped variant can also only be used with the assistance of an edged weapon, such as a katana.[break][break]
X - Each projectile is only capable of traveling a set distance away from him before fizzling out. In addition to causing the most damage, the crescent waves also travels the farthest at 80ft. The concussive blasts meanwhile only covers 10ft but pack enough force to knock someone unconscious.[break][break]
Attraction & Repulsion: Through the manipulation of an object or person's magnetic field. Ichigo can repel them away or attract them with varying levels of intensity.[break][break]
X - The strength of Ichigo's pull or push on something is determined by both its distance from him and its weight. For example, if he were to repel a trash can that was only 5 ft away. It would be launched with significant force and fly 50 ft from him. Doing this again but at 15 ft now sends the trash can flying 15 ft instead of 50.[break][break]
X - Attraction has a reach of 20 ft in the direction that Ichigo is facing. Repulsion meanwhile has a 15 ft radius around Ichigo with its effect being the strongest at 5 ft. He can repel up to one and half tons of weight and that's only if it comes within 5ft of him. It wouldn't travel extremely far but it would move away from him.[break][break]
Magnetoreception: Ichigo can sense the magnetic and biomagnetic fields of objects and beings within a specific radius around him. Making navigation through unknown territory and the detection of unseen threats easier. It can also serve as a limited form of sight should something impair his vision. [break][break]
X - It has a 20 ft radius and isn't passively active, requiring Ichigo to concentrate while using it. Needing to focus also locks him off from his other magnokinetic powers.[break][break]
Magno-Telekinesis: Ichigo can control metals such as iron, nickel, cobalt, and their various alloys through their magnetic fields. Allowing him to lift, pull, crush, and otherwise manipulate them as he sees fit.[break][break]
X - The level of concentration this power requires varies depending on the actions being performed. As does the mental and physical toll it places on Ichigo. Minor feats like floating something lightweight require little effort. But things like yanking doors from their hinges and stopping bullets mid-air can quickly drain Ichigo of energy.[break][break]
X - Ichigo struggles to manipulate anything that weighs over 6 and a 1/2 tons. When manipulating multiple objects at the same time, the total weight of those objects cannot be more than 6 and a 1/2 tons.[break][break]
X - Requires OOC consent to be used on a player.[break][break]
Metal Mimicry: By transforming himself or select parts of his body into metal, Ichigo can enhance his strength and durability. Allowing him to lift upwards of 2 tons and survive city-leveling blows. [break][break]
X - It's much quicker to transform individual parts of his body than the entire thing. It takes at least thirty seconds for the entity of his body to change. Where as it only takes five seconds to transform an arm or a leg, less if it's only a small part of them.[break][break]
X - While his arms and back are transformed, Ichigo is strong enough to lift a thousand pounds and shatter concrete with a punch. Transforming his entire body increases his strength further, allowing him to lift 2 tons and hit with significant force.[break][break]
Metal Property Manipulation: Ichigo can repair, polish, sharpen, rust, and erode metal through touch.[break][break]
X - He must be touching the metal in order to alter it. The more drastic the change the longer he must remain in contact with it. Rust, Erosion, and repair take the longest to perform.[break][break]
X - The powers works the best and takes the least amount of time on smaller metallic objects. It doesn't work on anything massive in scope. Trying to repair an entire airplane for example would be impossible.[break][break]

Ichigo is a practitioner of Shoden Katori Shinto-ryu, one of the oldest Japanese martial arts. It covers a broad range of weaponry from the shuriken to the naginata. Jujutsu, which Ichigo is moderately proficient with, is also included in its teachings. Shoden Katori Shinto-ryu's central focus is the katana, which Ichigo can wield expertly.[break][break]
