[attr="class","revcallpersonality1"] Personality Evaluation[break][break]Cith is a being guided by an intense desire for knowledge, fed on both his curiosity and his secret desires to understand humans and their world. As an otherworldly being born, or rather brought by sheer dumb luck to Earth; he has since been trying analyze the world's sentient life to create his own 'persona' outside the inhuman logical one that he currently has. The very idea of 'emotions' are something he doesn't naturally possess so emulating such things leave him looking and sounding more like a young child rather then the ancient being he already is. [break][break] He seeks to fill the gaps within his memories, self, and loneliness- the single emotion he would admit to be similar, if not the same; as Earth's lifeforms. He's a social creature, cautious but friendly to even those who wish to harm him. A guardian to those who ask or a menace to those who harm his precious subjects. A scientist and yet an instinctive animal, a child in an immortal body. He's a bundle of contradictions despite his desperate attempts, and failures; at being like those around him. [break][break] Yet he's gentle, forgiving for all but the most heinous crimes. Time feels infinite for him yet for everything else, it is so very limited- it has become precious since he realized those that disappear tend to not stick around. [break][break] It might seem odd for something with a form like his but Cith is a busybody when he's not otherwise occupied with his own daydreaming. He sticks his nose where it often isn't wanted and wonders why some might consider him a monster rather then a guardian when he tries to solve problems in his more logical ways. After all, despite all the time he has spent studying mankind and its fellow sentients; he doesn't put any stock into any of Earth's laws. A true benign neutral, willing to sit back and watch just as readily as he is to jump into the fray. Even he has favorites he'll want to protect. [break][break] And he is a protective being. Over-protective, really; to an almost greed-like possessive degree. Already insensitive to empathy or other types of open emotions (his telepathic powers don't help in the slightest), he's incredibly stubborn of how he imagines those 'under his protection' should act and spend their time. Like a mother hawk, he can become violently inclined to even the slightest hint of danger. From mortal creatures to the ultimate powers- whatever it is, he is dauntless to a self-sacrificing degree. In the beginning, there were grand spires...
[break]
Sandy waters that would stretch endlessly...
[break]
A crystal world that shined more colors then the rainbow-
[break][break]
Then the world faded into a dark missing piece of memory. A great energy? A shattered world? All Cith can remember from the days before he was given that name had been the cold black, the millions of lights that were all too far to reach, and the cold that lulled him into a deep slumber within his 'cocoon' against the odd sense of loneliness.
[break][break]
He knows he slept for an impossibly long time, knows that everything was far too quiet then it should have been. His mind was on its own its dreams unlike before, there were no friendly lights to share in the webs of his thoughts nor silent comforts of simply having another nearby to take draw security from. His mind was silent. Cold. Alone.
[break][break]
He doesn't know for how long, doesn't know when it was that he found a world that buzzed with active thoughts. All he can remember is that at one point there was nothing but the hollow emptiness and then the next-? Some strange four legged creature was trying to gnaw at his cocoon to no avail. That was the first creature he met, and the one whose form he stole.
[break][break]
Fresh and new in a world that he knew wasn't his, the name-lost being had suffered an amnesia that made his curiosity far more desperate then an idle wondering. Desperate for the silence to end, he took control of his vessel's new features to learn about the world he'd landed in; almost half-mad with finding another to speak to. The first emotion he felt in that new form had been 'anguish', after he'd learn it was due to his 'loneliness'.
[break][break]
His wanderings brought him among several different creatures that he realized he couldn't take the form of. A lost memory prevented him from learning that he could only take a single form once he emerged, now he was stuck in this four-legged beast. Of which he learned would have a rather dull mind once he found more of its original kind- oddly base yet so dull they couldn't form complete messages with their minds. He'd accidentally overpowered some, leaving behind brain dead creatures in his wake as his core slowly but surely overtook its new form.
[break][break]
He had nearly completed his assimilation when he'd met the first inklings of sentient life- actual 'intelligence' outside the most basic of needs. Hungry for the contact, he'd made the mistake of being overzealous in his reach- firmly damaging the first one he'd come into contact with. He felt their life-light slip into darkness while what knowledge they possessed had been greedily sucked dry from their dimming light.
[break][break]
The second time he had been far more cautious, careful to bring another poor mind to silence. That was his first true meeting with one of mankind's people, a young man out on a hunt thought him something called a 'god' when he tried to communicate. Of course, he didn't understand why the human had been so fearful of him nor did he understand why he ran away until the creature had found himself faced with a group of more men not a few days later (after trying to track the youth down).
[break][break]
For a time he had been revered by those people and their neighbors. They gave him knowledge and offerings, though he often gave back their offerings when he realized they were meant to be consumed (he had no need for nourishment after all). Other times he found himself being 'hunted', though he did not quite understand that their spears and bows were meant to penetrate his alien-bio-hardened body. He became feared in some areas, loved in others when he provided assistance. They proved to be wonderful subjects for testing his newfound knowledge.
[break][break]
He traveled across land and ocean, learned the world as he made contact with those he felt safe to do so. He'd learned at one point that thoughtlessly reaching out to random subjects didn't always lead to the best results; which often left him only able to contact a chosen few or the self-made hermits. 'Cith Rionnag' had been a name given to him by a priestess in the land he once inhabited and thus was the name he used until others gave him other names within their own languages. He found the spirits of the world easily enough, found their boundary lines but couldn't figure out how to cross it with his 'living' body.
[break][break]
Yet as he continued to try and fill the void that refused to be filled, technologies grew and he soon found that if he didn't hide himself- he would be stuck in unsavory situations. For all his curiosity, he had little enjoyment in being a test subject or worse- being fired upon. While bullets couldn't pierce his hide, they weren't exactly a comforting thought when they rained from every which way from Sunday. There had been many times he'd taken shelter with the 'supernatural' folks, hiding away from humans despite the deliciously luxurious feeling of their thoughts.
[break][break]
But during his travels, Cith had never learned of another from the stars. At least, not until he'd gone through another of his 'hidden walks' through a city and found the news via television. Without hesitation, he had tried to make his way to the source- only to find himself too late to truly experience the mind of another star-dweller. A subject of his own numerous detours, it was then he truly learned to prize time for those who weren't like himself. He truly found time precious for the first time in his lifespan- even though he'd found others precious before, he at least could follow their souls to the boundary before they'd ultimately disappear.
[break][break]
Since then he's continued wandering, ignoring mankind's laws for his own priorities. Helping where he wishes and punishing those he deems worthy. Inhuman amongst the newly popping up mutants and an outsider against those from both boundaries and stars, he found himself once again alone. And now he just wants to fill the void faster then ever.
[break][break]
✰ ALIEN PHYSIOLOGY [break]
Alien Physiology. [break][break]
Cith is an extraterrestrial being who has fully assimilated his current body to create a form that would've been more of the norm back on his home world (not that he actually knows that but it's a good guess). Being a mineral-based psychic life-form, he has the abilities (or at least the closest he's going to get to them he's assuming) that he'd have originally... maybe. For one, he doesn't possess an organic body so-to-say so he doesn't age nor does he need to fulfill the needs organic life would need such as eating, sleeping, or breathing. He doesn't even have a mouth or nose and his 'eyes' are more or less for show. His core runs on a power that is unknown to him, he assumes its a type of soul power; but it has so far proved him immortal against time and most wounds outside anything stronger then armor-piercing bullets. Then there's his natural heightened psychic abilities, the cream of his being and the only reason why he didn't go insane after landing on Earth (or so he hypothesizes).
[break][break]
X - Life-Core: Like any living creature with a heart, if someone were to break or capture his core then he'd be helpless and at their mercy. Since he can't obtain a new form, he'd have to take at least two week to fully reform his body if he'd either been stolen from it or if it was completely out of commission.
[break][break]
X - Psychic Dependency: If it wasn't obvious, Cith relies entirely on his psychic abilities to function like a living being. Talking, hearing, seeing, feeling- they are all wholly related to his abilities so if they were every to be dampened or blocked off entirely he would be blinded in every sense of the word. If someone were to hobble him like this, he would be very effectively out of commission if not at their mercy.
[break][break]
X - Deer form: It's kind of hard to fit into human society when one is basically a large crystal-looking stag with blades for legs. While not an actual weakness, it sure isn't a strength that he can't fit into any civilization meant for humanoids.
[break][break]
Vacuum Adaptation: Whether it is due to his mineral-base or the fact that he survived space with only a cocoon and no shuttle or hint of technology, Cith can survive in spacial conditions without assistance. Heat, cold, radiation, poisoning- it has no effect on him... or at least, not on his core.
[break][break]
X - Land-bound Shell: Yeah, his body could last in space but it sure isn't going to survive smashing back into the ground or becoming the victim of gravity... or a space junk.
[break][break]
Environmental Adaptation: Cith has wandered the planet from top to bottom, left to right. If given the time he can move from one place to another without it affecting his body's functions.
[break][break]
X - Difference Change: It takes at least half a month for him to fully adapt to rivaling bio systems. I.E.- From a desert to a tundra. It would take him three months to get used to a drastic pressure change between the top of a mountain to the bottom of the ocean. It also means he is more susceptible to gravity manipulation then an environment change.
[break][break]
Healing: Not so much healing as it is a type of regeneration. On a more scientific level, his body could be compared to self-producing cells in that they will split to fill the gaps... albeit if the cells weren't exactly like that of flesh but more like magical crystal.
[break][break]
X - Self-Made Regeneration: Since his body doesn't actually absorb energy from anywhere else aside from his core to repair, it usually takes him some time to recover. Scratches and small gouges will be gone within the day. A missing limb will take three days. Heavy damage, such as armor-piercing wounds or more then one limb missing; will take a month. And fully reforming his body (assuming his core wasn't destroyed) will take three months. They all require his psychic abilities to be intact.
[break][break]
↣ Psionics [break]
Psionics. [break][break]
His body can be all sturdy, convenient, and inconvenient as it wants but without his psychic abilities it might as well be a toy without a battery. All his 'brain function', senses, and survival are tied to his psychic abilities. Without them he might as well be a brainless rock.
[break][break]
Telepathy: Primarily used for mind-linking. This is how Cith talks, interacts, and otherwise understands other life-forms. Limited to creatures that possess a sentient life, he can usually talk to anything that has a mind of its own. It becomes more effective if another being also has telepathy, as he can latch onto their mind much more easily if they aren't ready to block him. His mind is like a drill against another's. Picking up surface thoughts is as easy as someone speaking aloud to him. He is able to shield himself from most outside sources and rely on his alien existence as an exotic key to keep his own mental shields intact.
[break][break]
X - Mind-blown: Unfortunately due to Cith's inherent species being a primarily psychic race, the touch of his mind is often times much more harsh and brutal then some can handle even after all his practice. Without a shield or continuous interactions with him (so he can fine-tune himself), he will often give headaches and/or migraines. At worse he could damage some people or kill without meaning to (this will never result in an IC death and is only mentioned due to his bio).
[break][break]
X - Zero Control: Despite the strength of his communication via telepathy, Cith is unable to actually 'control' anyone. Whether it stems from his own lack of empathy or the fact that he's from an alien race, he cannot put suggestions or outright command another. Not even animals.
[break][break]
Telekinesis: His 'arms' as well as the source of his regeneration. He is able to manipulate matter in basic ways, such as: moving, pulling, picking up, dropping objects- as well as reforming materials that are close to his own genetic make-up. It allows him both to create what he can think of with mineral-based materials and travel along both air and water if need be via platforms. This is also his primary means of a shield for his physical body if his shell won't cut it by itself.
[break][break]
X - Limited to Sight: Everything he manipulates must be within a thirty-foot distance of himself, as that is as far as his telekinesis can reach. That said, he can only lift up to around 1.5 tons. It might sound like a lot but it's pretty useless against something like a tank coming to kill him from far away.
[break][break]
X - Mineral-Based Creations Only: He cannot do more then push/pull/lift/drop organics. Creations and deconstructions can only be used on non-living materials such as rocks or metal.
[break][break]
X - Slow Travels: While yes, he can technically move over water or through the sky thanks to this ability; he'd be faster just running underneath the ocean. He can only go around 20mph.
[break][break]
ESP: Cith doesn't 'sense' as one might expect, or rather; he doesn't have the senses most would take for granted. Everything from his sight to his awareness of his surroundings rely solely on his ESP, or Extrasensory Instincts. Like a dolphin's echo-location, he can sense movement like subtle cellular vibrations (with help through his telekinesis) or through mental existence. Even a shielded mind can't hide a heartbeat after all. More like a viper that senses its prey through heat, he uses this ability to basically predict where everything is. It might be easier to call it his blind man's cane.
[break][break]
X - Real Time Limit: A better name might be 'it can detect someone running, but not a pro pitcher's fastball'. With all his other mental abilities in play at the same time, Cith is often left with a limited knowledge of his surroundings. Granted it reaches in the same thirty feet as his telekinesis but he cannot detect where something is once it reaches past the the 50mph mark- meaning if someone were to throw a fast ball at him, he wouldn't know it till it hit him in the face.
[break][break]
Astral Travel: His ability to sense and slip onto the boundary where the spirits, demons, and other supernaturals exist. If it has energy running through it, then he can sense it and follow it. Normally he cannot take his whole body with him but he can throw his core into the boundary and end up somewhere completely random on the other side.
[break][break]
X - No Luggage: His Core alone is the only physical manifestation he can toss into the realm of spirits. Though it would make him entirely helpless against something that could harm him physically or limit/block his psionics.

CHARACTER POWERS
