Some thought her a spirit, others thought her a harbinger of doom. Either way, she grew up knowing that she was different from the other villagers, and more importantly, different in the absolute wrong way.[break][break]
In her adolescence she caught the attention of the Crimson Cardinal, a very respected and popular superhero, while he was on a mission to China. He recognized that she had powers that she didn't know how to control, and felt that he could help her come to terms with her abilities and become a hero. Despite the language barrier, she grew to trust him, and eventually returned to South Korea with him and was adopted into his family. She struggled to fit in at first and coped by throwing everything she had into her training, neglecting trying to form closer relationships with her other siblings as she felt that she could not really fit into the relationships between them. - She has difficulty maintaining her illusions over a longer period of time. After about an hour, her illusions will be quite obviously determined to be fake, demonstrating visual "glitching" and reverting to a purple color
- Aside from any illusions affecting her own body, she must be able to physically see what she is attempting to visually alter, or the space where she is trying to project an illusion.
- Her illusions cannot affect the world physically and she can only generate them in relatively close proximity to herself (a maximum range of 20m). Similarly, she is limited to affecting an area of no more than 20m in any direction.
- She cannot actually generate her own light and requires a light source to work from.
